I thought all of one through five were AWESOME...the only reason why Rebirth gets fifth is because it doesn't really satisfy me length wise. Mask of the Phantasm and Return of the Joker are some of my most favorite movies of all time, and my most favorite animated movies. World's Finest was great fun, had a great plot, and was a great way of having these heroes meet...everything stayed true to character while leaving the characters' dignity intact, which I think was quite a feat. Last Son of Krypton was a nice origin and introduction movie, especially for those who were not previously aquainted with Superman (such as myself). I thought Rebirth was amazing, and a fantastic way to continue the animated Batman saga, it was just a tad on the short side. Sub-Zero would have worked great as an episode, but it was a bit slow for a movie. It was nice, but not really all that engaging. And Secret Origins, well, I guess its just not in the same league as the others. Its almost unfair to compare it to the other ones, since in a sense its a bit of a different genre.

I'm surprised to see The last son of krypton ranked so low for most of you guys. I am definately a Batman fan ahead of Superman but there is no way I'd rank Subzero which was at best decent so far above LSOK , which was possibly the best telling of Superman's Origin to date. Everything in that episode worked especially the Brainiac from krypton bit. And it was so well animated too! The more I go through my old superman tapes teh more I realise the genius of this show, it really surpasses all the other shows Save BTAS imo.

i dont wanna get flamed here but:

why is mask of the phantasm ranked so high for? i know its batman and all and it does have some good moments in it, but i found it rather boring.

I do like sub zero, rotj uncut and ths first supeman.

As they say on these boards, to each his own :) Personally I love MOTP, but I can understand where you're coming from - the first time I watched it, the flashbacks were confusing and I thought Batman should have appeared in costume a little more. I had to watch it a few times, then have my friend explain it to me.

MOTP, in retrospect, is really about Bruce Wayne, and his last grasp at true happiness before surrendering to the night. It's partly the origin story the series never gave us, and it shows the thin line between that seperates Batman from those he puts away.

Personally I thought Sub Zero has a little weak. It seemed to last too long and the movie itself looked weird. I liked that 3D batwing though.
