View Full Version : Hasbro's last few Batman 4-Packs...

After the "Alliance of Fear" 4-Pack comes out (which contains Batman, new sculpt Batgirl, the Scarecrow, and the Joker), there will be yet another one, most likel the last. This one's called "Frozen Assets," and will come with Batman, Nightwing, Mr. Freeze, and Poison Ivy. There's no news on what the new sculpt is, if there is one, and which Mr. Freeze figure it'll be a repaing of.

I'd consider buying a Batgirl with a new sculpt -- the old one is a little off. And if that last one has the new Poison Ivy I'm all over it.

I've come this far on the Hasbro figures -- I've got to see this through!

If it's got Nightwing and Freeze with fairly on-model paint jobs, I'm gonna have to snag this set.

I'm gonna pass unless the Poison Ivy has a different sculpt - I already all of these figures.

Hmmm...so whatever happened with that "Garden of Evil" three pack featuring an oldschool Ivy repaint, and the dynamic duo? I have yet to see it anywhere (K-Mart) other than in online pix.

If they do release this new Freeze/Ivy 4 pack -- that'll add one more Ivy repaint to the list of 4-ish -- sheesh 5 repaints of the same figure. Hasbro...yer crazy.

Yeah, this is Hasbro we're talking about. They haven't made a new mold for any figures in ages - the only "new molds" are for entirely new figures, period.

Besides, with MATTEL taking over very shortly, I doubt Hasbro would put any money into making any new figures - they're just trying to get rid of all their stock.

I'm a sucker. I admit it. I'll be getting the "Frozen Assets" 4-pack (although I am very anxious to see a picture of that and the "Alliance of Fear" pack). By the way, I just purchased the "Garden of Evil" three pack at my local K-Mart. They had quite a few on the shelf. Nothing special - just repaints, but, hey, it's Batman and I had to have it.

I'll be "freezing my assets" until Mattel takes over. Since "Revenge of The Penguin" I'm sick and tired of being taunted with four-pack repaints.

I'll be getting the "Alliance of Fear" 4-pack solely for the new Batgirl sculpt (the other one is a bit awkward), but if the "Frozen Assets" doesn't have any new sculpts, then I'm not getting it.

Those both sound like ones I'll really try and pick up. The last two they had out I saw at Toys R Us, and debated whether to get one or both, but in the end, didn't get either. They were cool, but like only one character in each was either a new one or just one I was interested in having, but it didn't seem worth the money.

If any of the figures are new sculpts (especially Freeze or Ivy), then I'm in... If they're just re-paints, I'll pass. It's bad enough that you have to buy 3 re-paints to get one new figure (Gordon, Alfred, Ventiloquist / Scarface, Talia - although in that case it was good to get a decent Ra's as well).

Count me in as one who is counting the days until Mattel takes over !!

If it has TNBA Mr Freeze painted properly I hope to get it. A new Poison Ivy would be nice too.

Slipknot - the set cost $9.99 plus tax. I don't really think the Ivy is worth getting (unless you're a completist or a huge fan of Poison Ivy). It is the same figure as her original animated action figure. Her gloves and boots are green; her stockings are light green; and her body suit is kind of a muted green. The Batman and Robin figures are supposed to be "Amazon camo," but that could be tough with yellow on the cape!
