The training scene is awesome. The new Batman trashes three of classic villians in a very short period of time. After that is all down hill. The fight scene with Cynthia makes no sense. If Terry can destroy other robots with ease, he should be able to take her out with out difficulties.

unusual, goofy episode. it was good to put more focus on terry's life outside batman, as well as putting in some funny moments and a cool batman quote:
"is it ever the right thing to say?"
:D

This is one of the more weaker BB episodes, imho. There really is little substance to it -- while sort of comedic, it's more laughable because Howard is pathetic, than actually funny. (Or maybe I'm just in a bad mood.)
Howard is annoying, he's like the Urkel of BB -- and I can't stand Urkel. But I won't bore you with nitpicking this character to death 'cause then you'll really think I'm in a bad mood. :D
The good parts? Definitely the opening scene with Terry training agaist the robots. That was just too awesome, imho. And the house blowing up was nicely done too. ;) Other than that I find this one to be a major snore...not to mention it makes no sense. superfreak mentioned that Terry had no trouble fighting the robots in the beginning but his battle with Cynthia was quite hard for him. That really bugs me. He took on three of the same type of robots earlier -- and then has difficulty with just one. Pfft.
3 stars, just 'cause I love that first scene to bits.

One of the more weaker episodes of BB.

My favorite of the High School oriented episodes (which as a whole, I depise). This one was actually funny and I love the way they handle the prostitution situation. The Batman Beyond world is really spooky but if robotic technology became that advanced, people would sell the robots for sex.

The only highlight of this episode is the appearances of riddler, croc and harvey at th beginning.Otherwise you get an average episode.

the only redeeming quality of this was the training session vs Croc, Riddler, & Two-Face
one of the few eggs of this series...along w/ RATS! and Eggbaby (how appropriate)
of course, this ep being as horrible as it is, we may end up getting commentary on it :P

But at least this episode is better than "I've got batman in my basement".

It's a guilty pleasure for me. When Terry fights the Riddler in the beginning, he punches a canonball in flight. :D
I hate "Eggbaby", and I think these two are often grouped together as sitcomish episodes, but I'm really charmed by howard, and amused by Synth-ia.
Howard is not like Willie Watt, because he really doesn't mean any harm. Well, he does a few morally questionable acts (he uses his parents credit card, deceives his peers and illegally purchases a synthoid) he never has violent intentions. He simply does not realize the extremes "Totally devoted to me." can be taken. She is driven by her program to take out any bully who threatens him, and later any other girl who shows interest in him. Howard remains unaware until things heat up at the party.
I love Howard's theme music!
The intended moral is a bit overbearing, which would be to say "Popularity is no reason to be shallow." but there's another, possibly unintentional, subtext here that cracks me up. Synth-ia is portrayed as the ultimate jealous, "psycho" ex-girlfriend or "date from Hell". ROFL at Blade's reaction to the noises Howard's making in the bedroom when he struggles with Synth-ia. "Go Howard!" :D Synth-ia wigging out when Howard says he wants to see other people, and later literally exploding when he says "Let's just be friends", as well as Batman's expression when Howard says that! :D Maybe Paul Dini had a real life experience like this.
I love the various quips from the "party dude" who accompanies Blade. Sid the Squid from "The Man Who Killed Batman" reminds me of Howard because he's happy at the end because he's finally popular, even though he had to blow up his own house for it. Then in typical fashion the parents come home. It's such a cliche, but it was so on cue that it seemed more like a parody of said cliche, and I loved it.

 - NEGATIVE. 1 1/2 stars
Robots that that contain gasoline and explode taking half a mansion with it. Poor excuse for an episode.
