For those who might not know Transmet is series about a crazed writer by the name of Spider Jerusalem (no relation) that takes place in a bizzare, scary, and all to realistic future.

OK, I've always been intrigued by it but never really forced myself to buy a TPB let alone an issue. I really like Warren Ellis's work but for some reason 'Transmet' never appealed to me.

So tell me.....how good a series is it? :confused:

Oh, and for those that don't know, it's over. The last issue came out last month, if I recall correctly.

I liked it, but it was hard to get past the whole Hunter S. Thompson rip. I think Thompson is an interesting guy and a good writer, but he I don't think he's deserving of the kind of blind worship he gets. I see this in some of my younger fellow journalists and it's a bit annoying.
