If your like me the anticipation for news and images regarding the new show is near unbearable, although thanks to this site and others it certainly does keep coming, however sometimes it's in pieces. So I find myself doing what you see bellow, and thought I'd share it here, enjoy.

Pieced together from the image taken by "Clayface", as reported by DickGrayson on today's news page.

From the image of the W.W. WB maquet display, I can't remember where I originally saw the Image (maybe here, or ***************)

Incase you hadn't seen it, from the images snatched at SDCC's JL panel also reported here.

And here's one of my own. No they probably wont be brought back, but in my head I'm going to imagine they're some where in the Watch-tower......suffering!, (no kidding) somewhere in the back ground...way, waaay in the back.

And the Twins and the chimp to, I can dream can't I?

Wow, Marvin looks like he could kick anyones *****. Wendy ain't to shabby either. As for Wonder Dog, that reminds me too much of Critters.:D

Well I don't know critters? But I did him originally more pit-bullish, but something about dogs in capes really bugs me. And there was nothing "Wonder" about him without it. So I figured ok, he'll be the smart one in the bunch. I can't remember if he actually talked, but he was definitely smarter than Marvin.
Like I said, just dreaming, though it'd be funny if they did have a cameo somewhere down the line, and to see how Timm re-invents them.

LOL. The picture you've designed of Marvin, The WOnder Dog and and Wendy (or whatever her name was). You've got a great talent. Can you please draw a kick ***** drawing of the Wonder Twins and Zeek and post it here. That would be really cool. Thanks!

Thanks all for looking, and the kind words.
Bird_Boy, I finally got an avatar up and running (literally). Thanks for the tip.
Vince, keep an eye out for the Twins!
and I hadn't seen this image posted here yet, from ***************.com; Apears to be the JLAdventures cover to be painted by Ross;

So...here's the Wonder Twins, well how I'd like if they appeared on the show(more un-likely). But you never know who's looking? Maybe Mr. Storries? Hmm, probably a million characters he'd rather write first. OK anyone for a fan-fiction; I'd make them real fun, playful and mischievous, like Cosmic Sprits who've overrun the Watch-Tower. While trying to "help" the most powerful heroes in the galaxy, they of course inevitably bring things to the brink of universal cataclysm...oops!

I actually like the old costumes, but I'd change their powers a bit(ok allot). Maybe let Janna morph partially into the animals. Keeping a more human shape, but with more subtle characteristics of the creatures she assumes. Zann I'd emphasize the whole "Elemental" aspect, and not just water, but fire, air, earth etc.. Also retaining a more human form, instead of actually becoming a bucket of water(sheeesh!) he could project it while in his watery form, Like Ice-Man does, and the same with all elements Human-Torch etc...And of course Gleek would keep the super tail.

Anyway I'd love it if some incarnation of them worked their way into the show or somewhere else, (is just seeing them here is enough) What do you all think? Do you horrifically dread this very notion?

Once again great work Lucho. I actually wouldn't mind your concept for the Wonder Twins being seen in animation as long as it was for 1 (ONE) episode. Too much of the Wonder Twins is defintely a bad thing.

I think your idea would actually work. As long as you write the characters well, people will read. That's a lesson that's been learned many times over with a ton of different characters. And the new ideas for powers sounds cool.

I like the way your avatar blinks, Lucho. ;)

Ha! That's great.
They must have teamed up against Dr. light and the Mirror-Master. "I'm BLIND!" Luckily Gleek was there to save the day.

Great job, Lucho! The Wonder Twins drawing is really cool, you even got Gleek! You're idea for the characters is a lot better, too. Maybe you could convince Timm and company to use your idea. You never know...

What about the Kid with he metal arm of sorts or Toy master or um Black Manta. Id like to see a gritty version of Black manta That'd be sweet.

Huh, are you talking about Cyborg? I always felt he belonged more with the Titans. Him and Firestorm seemed out of place on the Superfriends. Not that Wendy, Marvin, Wonder Dog, the Wonder Twins and Gleek belonged, but I just got used to them (ugh).
Toy Master? If you mean ToyMan, he was actually redesigned for TNBA.
And I wouldn't be surprised if BlackManta did show up in the Aquaman episode....yes that would be SWEET!

You've got some really great stuff here.

Have you submitted your stuff to the "Drawing Board" at shaneglines.com? That's a place a lot of budding artists should check out, if they haven't already.

And if you don't know it yet, over on the "Oooh! I like the avatar!" thread on AniGen board, people are raving about your Gleek avatar.

Hey Maxie Zeus,
Thanks for the comments and that great link!, I was not familiar with the site. It's an excellent resource. Some really amazing artist there, friendly and knowledgeable, many professionals and fans of the animated style and more, I think I'll have to become a regular.
Thank you,
Lucho

Another piece of the puzzle;
From the WB Maquettes, Wonder Woman and MM are new, The Batman from TNBA, and Superman I guess this was the first Maquette, Looking at it now I can't believe how bad it is compared to the new ones, also the pictures really poor but it's all I could find. Was there a Flash one made?
Anyway I hope the upcoming toys are modeled right from these new sculpts, whoever is going to make them?
