Since we know that Spider-Man 2 is being called (thankfully) The Amazing Spider-Man, what should the inevitable Spider-Man 3 be called when it comes out in (I'm assuming) 2006? I'd like to see it called Web of Spider-Man.
What are your picks & ideas?

SPIDER-MAN FOREVER! :)
So Spider-Man 2 is officially "The Amazing Spider Man" now? That's cute - I like it, and a great nod to the comics. As for the third one, I really don't know yet...though Jim's suggestion works. As long as they don't call it "Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man" or something.

Web of... definitely sounds best. Other titles I know of are Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man, Marvel Tales featuring The Sensational Spider-Man, Spider-Man Unlimited (I think it was called that), Peter Parker, Spider-Man, and Spider-Man's Tangled Web.
Web of Spider-Man sounds best. I was actually a little disapointed that the first wasn't called Amazing....

Well I think this is a good discussion question and I like Web of Spider-Man as a title. Spider-Man Unlimited would also be kinda cool.

Yeah, Unlimited sounds quirky.

Spider-Man Unlimited brings back painful memories of that bizarre Spider-Man cartoon from a few years back. The Spectacular Spider-Man would also be a good choice for the third movie, but Web of Spider-Man just fits better.

They won't do the Venom arc. They'd have to adapt the entire Secret Wars arc to get Venom into a movie...

I think it's a way to early to tell, cuz I'd want to have read a script before having an opinion, but Web Of Spiderman sounds good. I want his name to be in the title so you can say your choice of "Spiderman 3" or "The Web of Spiderman" and everyone in the movie viewing world will know what you're talking about specifically.
Using sensational might make things weird on a consistency level cuz the second one has a title somewhat similar, so I dunno if I'd go with that. But I guess I'd really have to read the script (at which point I'm sure the writer(s) will have had a perfect one picked by then though :p).

SPIDER-MAN FOREVER! cute but doesn't do it for me^^

I say that #3 is named "Ultimate Spiderman", especially if it's supposed to be a trilogy of movies.

Well, sticking with comic titles:
The Spectacular Spider-Man
Peter Parker: Spider-Man
or, as Jim said, Web of Spider-Man.
I personally like all three of them.

I like Spectacular Spider-Man, but I reckon it will be considered to be too similar to 'Amazing'.
How about Spider Man and His Amazing Friends? After all, Dunst is rather amazing.... ;)
I'd go with Peter Parker: Spider-man. There is quite a high chance it will be called "Spider-man:Return of the Green Goblin" if they decided to go that way. Any word on whos directing it?

I really like Jim's title. Makes the most sense to me out of all of them. But I don't like the idea of SPIDER-MAN being a key part in all of the titles. Superhero movies do that way too much. What about,
"Web of a Spider" or if you have to have Spider-Man in there somewhere, "Spider-Man: Web of a Spider"
Just a thought...not a good one...but definetly a form of brain waves. :D

I personally like both "Peter Parker: Spider-Man" & "The Web of Spider-Man"
And I disagree on not having "Spider-Man" in on the title. The average person can easily be confused if it's not in there. There are plenty of movies out there that don't have "Spider-Man" in it to make them confused and lost. (i.e. "Along came a Spider").
Trust me, I've seen it happen

First off, I'm really glad to see Spider-Man 2 dubbed The Amazing Spider-Man. Second, I think the third movie should definatly be called Web of Spider-Man.

on the venom arc, they could do it a lot like they did it in the cartoon, introduce the symbiote as a stowaway on a shuttle mission, then have the guy who'd be venom get depressed when jonah fires him for his fake stories about spiderman , go to a church and get the symbiote which is crazy for violence pretty quickly.. then have venom do a lot of kicking in the 2nd half and almost have spiderman lose, or if he survives, very much on the road to recovery.
