Changes of Luthor

So far, I've seen 3 different Lex Luthors. One, seen in this (http://www.toonzone.net/comics/covers/ba/ba25.jpg)issue of Batman Adventures is white w/ orange (or red..) hair, w/ a bushy beard. Then in the series, they changed him to this (http://www.toonzone.net/comics/covers/sa/sa09.jpg) . Now, he looks like he did in the 2nd link, in a purple suit...I'm just wondering if there were any other Animated-Series type thing transitions that I missed.. :)

Well that first Luthor (w/ red hair, bushy beard) was the Lex Luthor II design that was around from 1992 to about 1995 in the mainstream comics. Keep mind that Batman Adventures #25 hit stand about a year before STAS premired. Since then that issue has been wiped clean from current continuity.

Now what will be interesting is if Justice League will tell how Luthor went from being Mr. Clean (As Joker would say) to getting busted.

They will. I was at Comic Con and Bruce Timm said that there we an explanation for why Luthor is in the funky green and purple suit.

They also used that first Luthor in the Superman / Batman Magazine....

Fair enough for us fans I suppose. But I hope Mr. Timm doesn't mind our constant questions, since some things will be in continuity of out Batman/Superman shows, and other won't. :eek: :rolleyes:

You know, it almost sounds like as if the Joker had taken over...Green and Purple...Maybe he's controlling Lex mind or something ...crazy stuff, ya I know...I don't even read the comics so who am I to tell:D
