Man, I just need to vent, but I'm sure everyone here has had experiences dealing with jerks, here's my latest...

I go into class, already peeved off, because I locked myself out of my room. It's a negotiations class, so we break off into groups. For this case, there was one seller and 3 buyers. I was the seller. Now, I'm thinking I have the advantage. But as the dealings go, the 3 collude and I'm turn out to be at a big disadvantage. That's within the rules, so I'm not mad about that. But then they act like total @#$%'s and keep throwing it in my face. I'm sure you know these people, you know the stereotypical cut-throat wannabe Donald Trump, business student. At the end, I turned out with a deal that wasn't great, but I minimized the losses. But either way, I just had this overwhelming desire to wail on each of these bastards.

*grumble* I just know I'm gonna end up in jail one day.

Believe me, I know the type. I work at a gas station and we get a LOT of jerks coming through, complaining about the gas price and whatnot. Gas prices have been high FOREVER so I don't see why complaining about it now serves any point.

The best part is when the gas is really high, an annoying customer comes in, and then we drop the price 12 cents a litre as soon as he walks through the door - just in time to realize that he'd been had. :D

These are the kinds of people we need to lock in dark rooms and let them beat the hell outta each other with tire irons until they are ready to join modern society.

Just tell them that you're gonna put your stuff on ebay and list it as "Rare" and "VERY HARD TO FIND" so they'll have to outbid everyone who flocks to it just to have something rare that they can have later on and so if they want it at a real price they HAVE to listen to you. :D

Man, I can relate to the jerk talk.

I remember I was in a required course in my first year of college and we had to write a dumb paper on something. I can't even remember what exactly. I went in with a rough draft, which was what we were required to do for the group discussion that we were going to do in that class. Anyway, long story short, I read my other group members papers keeping in mind that they're rough and unfinished, so I go easy and keep things positive.

Then, they talk about mine and say things like "Geez, you sure do use A LOT of commas" and other crap. I got one paper back with so many red marks on it that I thought it had been on the set of Blade for crying out loud....

It wouldn't have bothered me if it was actually good advice, but most of it was making fun of my writing style. Frankly, I've been writing that way for years, so someone picking at it like it sucked kind of made me angry. Not only that, but it was supposed to be a rough draft, so I kept it workable.

Eh, what can you do, right?

Also, I've worked two summers straight at a local hardware store. I thought people were sensitive when it came to their food (I've worked at Subway and Dunkin Donuts too) but people get just as sensitive over the price of propane or the quality of a 2X4. Crazy stuff. :D
