Sad News For ECW Fans

Flyboy Rocco Rock from The Public Enemy passed away an hour or two ago from a massive heart attack

I send my condolences to his family and friends

In case anyone doesn't remember Rocco is the one standing up straight. The other man is his longtime partner Johnnie Grunge. The duo also competed in WCW, and for a short time, in the WWF.


I just read this news myself a little while ago and I was shocked and saddened by the news. So many times when a wrestler disappears from the "mainstream" organizations you tend to lose track of them, and that happened to me with Teddy "Rocco Rock" Petty and The Public Enemy. I once had the privilege of seeing Rocco and Johnnie compete at a "WCW Saturday Night" taping and they really went out and entertained us. Their opening theme said "We likes to party" and that was indeed true.

Good-bye Rocco. "Flyboy" now flies with the angels. :(

Man, I am sad...

Just reading this thread brings back memories of their run in ECW and WCW. This is truly sad...I don't know what to say....
