Well the personal questions continue. This time the question is "How do you sleep at night?" Nnot in the sense that you did something bad, but in what position? I personally sleep on my back. I used to sleep on my side, but now I sleep on my back for some reason. Well lets see those answers come in!

I toss and turn all night.

Not at all, tortured by the souls of the lives I've taken.

I start sleeping on my side, but I have no idea if that changes throughout the night.

I start on my side...either left or right...and I stay in either of those two positions all night. If I ever deviate from that game plan, I CANNOT sleep. I'm a really picky sleeper. :p

I generally sleep on my side, shifting from left to right throughout the night. Every once in a while I'll sleep part of the night on my back.

I usually start out on my side and eventually shift to my back. The funny thing is, ever since a college friend of mine, who was majoring in medical technology, told me that sleeping on the left side is harder on the heart than the right side (because of the heart's position and the harder it has to pump against gravity), I have the hardest time sleeping on my left side. I'll start thinking about what he told me, the start to feel like my heart is beating louder or harder or something, then shift to my right side or my back.

Weird, huh? That's just one of those strange things that has stuck with me all these years.

Sleep, what's sleep?

When I do actually get to sleep, usually it's on my back, direction on my stomach, or in kind of a \ type of lean on my left side leaning inward.

Who needs sleep?
Well, you're never gonna get it...
Who needs sleep?
Tell me what that's for!
Who needs sleep?
And...uhm.....this is a song, but I forget this lyric...it's really long and fast, so....oh well. It's a BNL song...anyway....

On my back. When I was younger I used to sleep on either side, stomach, and normaly curled in this really tiny ball. My kitten changed all that. She sleeps on my legs at night, so I need to be on my back for her to get comfortable on my legs. Got stuck one too many times on my stomach and she would fall asleep on the back of my legs. Boy was that uncomfortable when I couldn't move! *voice in the back* why not just move her? Why? because my cat owns me.

I toss and turn all night long, sometimes hitting the wall and waking myself up, sometimes my arm slips out the railing thing on the bed. One time I woke up, and I was turned completely around, my feet on the pillow, my head towards the ladder to my bed. Wierd, huh?

Very well, thank you! :D

Actually, I start out on my stomach with my head facing the wall, then I lay on by back for most of the night, and then when I wake up I find myself on my side facing the clock. It's weird.

There are 2 levels of sleep, the specific names of which escape me at the moment. Anyway, when you don't hit that 2nd, deeper level, thats how one can sleep for hours, yet still wake up feeling tired. Thats the problem that I have. Although thats the fault of my nightlight, which I need to read myself to sleep. I have an over-active mind!

Like Tim, I start sleeping on one side, then, I end up tossing and turning and sometimes falling off my bed :P.

I usually toss and turn until I fall asleep, which is usually on my stomach. But when I wake up, I'm always on my back. So I guess I still move in my sleep.

Usually, I sleep on either my left or right side. Occasionally, I'll change during the night, or I might even roll over onto my back. I probably move around a lot when I sleep, because I sometimes wake up in wierd positions.

I feel for you. My cat, Muffin (my sister named her, honest :D ), will always lay on my legs, even if I'm on my side. So I always have to reposition myself as soon as I see her coming, or else I'm stuck in an uncomfortable position until she wants to move. Luckily for me, my other cat, Robin (who I named, obviously :D ) likes to sleep in my chair instead of on me.

I wake up on the floor with the cat on my head purring. :D ;) :p

Sometimes I toss and turn, but for the most time, I sleep on my stomach. I'm just comfortable that way, I suppose.

Also, I've never been able to fall asleep while lying on my back. I just can't. Weird.

On my side, switching to whatever side my body wants to lie on for a particular night.

Funny cats you guys have. Mine hates sleeping in bed with me. She's only slept on my bed when I was at home this summer.

I forgot to mention that when I sleep at night, unless I'm seriously sick, I have to have a slight chill in my room; I can't sleep when it's hot. Fortunately, in Canada, that's rarely a problem at 2am. :D

I sleep soundly. I stay up so late I'd pass out of I didn't go to bed. However, I have the ability to sleep whenever I want and if I had the time I'd sleep all day. I have to force myself not to sleep in the morning, however at night I have no problem staying awake and occasionally need my online chums to tell me to go to bed.. :)
