View Full Version : I'm telling all of you WWE fans now (Brand X-Tension)

The failed brand x-tension is coming to a close. If Smackdown! has the WWE champion and he's not going to wrestle on RAW then what does RAW do? I'll tell you what RAW is going to do...

Eric is going to name his own world champion. Both shows will have their own world champion. Then some where down the line the two shows will battle it out. Winner takes all! There will take the two shows and make one WWE with the winner being in charge or Vince

The Brand X-Tension has failed. I think the WWE has finally saw this and they will probably get rid of a lot of the undercard workers if RAW is a sign of things to come. RAW is starting to take a small group and focuss on that group and I think that's a good thing

I could be wrong as this is just my guess from watching RAW last night. I'm not saying it will happen tomorrow or the next PPV. I'm sure they'll make the WCW vs. WWF thing draw out and last like the last invasion and that's what it will be. WWE (Smackdown!) VS. WCW (RAW) with Eric coming out the loser and Vince will make an ass out of Eric once and for all like he did to the nWo and everyone else that has ever crossed him

Thoughts?

Sadly, I predicted something like this when Stephanie became GM of Smackdown. Why else would Vince put Bischoff on RAW under the illusion of "contribution to the company?" I hope the rosters stay the way they are right now. I'm liking Raw more than Smackdown.

Later.

NOTE: I said this before Taker moved to Smackdown. Grrr  .

I hate making predictions, I will just wait and see what happens. I don't think anyone thought the brand extension would last forever, not even the writers probably thought that. It is just another angle and that is how I always looked at it. I don't think it failed, it was bound to be ended sooner or later and I never had any illusions about that. As long as RVD is the Raw champion and he beats The Brock I'm happy

The tale will be told this Monday on RAW

If they declare a world champion then I will be right

However on Smackdown! this week a superstar jumped ship from RAW so we'll have to wait and see

Yeah I cursed the heavens when that certain Raw superstar ruined a great main event.

I'm not surprised that he jumped to Smackdown!, but it will be disappointing not being able to see him wrestle again, except on Velocity. I'm still hoping for Smackdown! to move to a different channel or have an encore showing on TNN or something. I hate missing it.

a) I think it's too early for that, until they're ready to start doing individual PPV's.

b) Someone's pointed out that it's been 4 or 5 years since WWEF had a PPV main event that didn't have HHH, Undertaker, Rock, or Austin. Even if they declare a Raw World champion, that belt is still going to be inferior for the time being, and Brock will have to main event against someone else. I don't see it happening, and I see no potential matches on RAW that they could build to main event status (for a "double main event") without the world title involved.

I would like to think of this as a long-term storyline. Bischoff weasels his guy into a world title match for Survivor Series and brings the title to Raw, refusing to let his champion wrestle on Smackdown. Steffie wins the Royal Rumble for the big Raw/Smackdown world title match, and then after Wrestlemania, the WWE board of directors fixes the situation.

But I don't think Vince has the 'grapefruits' to not put one of the elite four in a main event; on the other hand, that means Brock would be a very short-lived champion, since your only potential matches now are Brock/Undertaker, Brock/HHH, or Brock/Undertaker/HHH. You could conceivable stretch this out until Rock can return for another match or two, I suppose. But one way or another, Brock WILL be facing Triple H or Undertaker at Unforgiven.

I think that Brock will face Undertaker at Unforgiven, then Triple H at No Mercy. However, I don't think this is because Vince thinks that Brock needs to have one of the "big four" in the main event with him to headline a PPV, I think he just wants to use the company's top guys to get Brock over as a credible champion. Imagine if in three months, Brock has won three PPV main event championship matches over Rock, Undertaker, and Triple H? Makes him look pretty good.

I will also bet money that one of the new "up and coming" stars will be the first to beat brock- RVD, Edge, Booker T, or someone else in that mold.

I agree 100%. The roster split has ended up being a humungous failure. Which really is a shame, because I thought Bischoff's been great on RAW. The thing really took off for a while, reaching perfection when the Anti-Americans and Jericho went to RAW. Then Stephanie blew it up by yanking Benoit, Guerrero, Hardy, and now Taker. The General Managers luring guys away can only work for so long and has definately worn out its welcome. They had the right idea, the problem is they've now dragged it out to long and now are able to just stop story angles even quicker than they usually are able to by simply switching a guy to the other night.

Unfortunately in typical 2000-present WWE fashion it will drag on until Survivor Series or so before they get rid of it. Then hopefully we'll have a nice mass firing where they can weed out a lot of the crap. Atleast then we'll have something good coming out of this. I personally wouldn't mind seeing Bischoff stick around though, get rid of Steph instead! :p
