with the Quantum Brain." Then writer Tom Peyer (THE AUTHORITY) and artist

and the Midnighter. This jam-packed Special also features a Widescreen

The critically-acclaimed, Eisner Award-nominated series PLANETARY is
collected in a second softcover volume this November with PLANETARY: THE
FOURTH MAN - a 144-page trade paperback written by Warren Ellis, with art
and a new cover by John Cassaday, and an introduction by Buffy the Vampire
Slayer creator Joss Whedon.
Since joining Planetary, Elijah Snow has traversed the world,
uncovering its secret history and mysteries one by one. But a single
nagging secret remains: Who is the mystery benefactor of Planetary, the
mysterious "Fourth Man" who funds this vast global operation? In THE FOURTH
MAN - reprinting PLANETARY #7-12 - Elijah Snow, Jakita Wagner and The
Drummer pay their last respects to a British occultist with close ties to
Planetary; visit a hidden government compound full of radioactive human
guinea pigs; investigate a fictional construct made into reality; and learn
about the far-reaching atrocities of the nefarious group "The Four." During
the course of Planetary's investigations, Elijah Snow pieces together clues
to the Fourth Man's identity, learning some terrible truths about his own
hidden past along the way.
This project is supported with house ads.
PLANETARY: THE FOURTH MAN is a 144-page trade paperback from
WildStorm Productions, arriving in comic-book stores November 14 with a

THE MONARCHY: BULLETS OVER BABYLON TP
They brought Union back from the dead; they sold Hitler into
slavery; and they stole back the Voice of America. They are The Monarchy -
and now they're making plans to undream a world.
It all starts here with THE MONARCHY: BULLETS OVER BABYLON, a
128-page trade paperback from WildStorm Productions written by Doselle Young
(GANGLAND, STAR TREK: VOYAGER - AVALON RISING) and illustrated by John
McCrea (JENNY SPARKS: THE SECRET HISTORY OF THE AUTHORITY, Tangled Web: The
Thousand) & Garry Leach (HITMAN, Miracleman), with additional art by Warren
Pleece (DEADENDERS) and a new cover by McCrea. BULLETS OVER BABYLON
collects the "All Tomorrow's Parties" prologue story from THE AUTHORITY #21,
as well as the first four issues of THE MONARCHY - a dark, enigmatic and
expectation-defying super-hero series that introduces WildStorm's most
mysterious super-team: a covert interdimensional strike force fighting an
enemy it's just beginning to comprehend.
It begins with Ex-StormWatch leaders Jackson King and Christine
Trelane, passed over by the Authority, in a unique vantage point to see
symptoms of a worldwide illness manifesting itself. King and Trelane
discover that something not only is wrong with the world, but also with
entire dimensions, and it's up to them to stem a disease they have yet to
fully identify. They gather to their side some of the most powerful,
eclectic super-humans the WildStorm Universe has ever seen: meta-scientist
Professor Q, the extra-dimensional priest Jon Farmer, the soulless
vengeance-assassin Union, and chaos artist Condition Red - each one a
necessary piece of a larger puzzle. Begin piecing it together with BULLETS
OVER BABYLON.
This project is supported with house ads.
THE MONARCHY: BULLETS OVER BABYLON is a 128-page trade paperback
from WildStorm Productions, arriving in comic-book stores November 28 with a
cover price of $12.95 U.S.
GREEN LANTERN: TRAITOR TP
Abin Sur. Hal Jordan. Kyle Rayner. Three men sworn to protect the
innocent who share the same legacy. All have been chosen to wield the power
of the ultimate weapon. They are Green Lanterns, given a sole charge: Let
no evil escape their sight!
GREEN LANTERN: TRAITOR is a 144-page trade paperback collecting the
three connected stories from LEGENDS OF THE DC UNIVERSE (issues #20, 21, 28,
29, 37, and 38). Written by Steven Grant (X-Man) with inks by Klaus Janson
(BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS) and a new painted cover by Greg Staples,
TRAITOR is a tale of three heroes, illustrated by three different pencilers,
separated by time but sharing the same impossible goal - to put an end to
the planet-shattering force that is possibly the greatest evil to face the
Green Lanterns: Traitor. A warrior genetically engineered to be the
ultimate conqueror, Traitor has sworn to eradicate the only force to give
pause to his brutal conquests: Green Lantern...any Green Lantern.
In the first chapter, Mike Zeck pencils a story of Abin Sur, long
before he passed his ring on to Hal Jordan, in a Wild West adventure that
introduces the threat of Traitor. Then legendary Silver Age Green Lantern
artist Gil Kane pencils the second Green Lantern encounter with Traitor,
featuring Hal. Finally, current Green Lantern Kyle Rayner faces Traitor in
the present day, in a story pencilled by Scott Kolins (THE FLASH). Will the
threat of Traitor finally be vanquished, or will it live on to face
generations of Green Lanterns to come?
GREEN LANTERN: TRAITOR is a 144-page trade paperback arriving in
comic-book stores November 21 with a cover price of $12.95 U.S.
THE GREEN ARROW BY JACK KIRBY
It was 1958, and as hard as it may be to believe, Jack Kirby - who
had co-created Captain America over a decade earlier and was three years shy
of co-creating most of the Marvel Universe - was looking for work! So DC
Comics offered him a (pardon the pun) second-string backup strip: Green
Arrow.
Now this little-seen work can finally be yours to own with THE GREEN
ARROW BY JACK KIRBY - a 72-page Special featuring all the Green Arrow
stories ever done by Kirby, one of comics' greatest creators ever. These
eleven, wildly imaginative stories written by Dave Wood, Bill Finger and Ed
Herron and illustrated by the great Jack Kirby (with help from his wife
Roz), were originally featured in ADVENTURE COMICS #250-256 and WORLD'S
FINEST COMICS #96-99 (spanning 1958-1959). This amazing volume also
features a cover by Kirby and an introduction by comics writer/historian
Mark Evanier!
Some of the bizarre and exciting adventures contained within
include: "The Green Arrow's First Case," "The Green Arrows of the World,"
"Prisoners of Dimension Zero," and "The Menace of the Mechanical Octopus!"
This project is supported with house ads.
THE GREEN ARROW BY JACK KIRBY is a 72-page Special arriving in
comic-book stores November 14 with a cover price of $5.95 U.S.
PLASTIC MAN ARCHIVES Volume 3 HC
DC Comics continues its award-winning Archives series featuring
everyone's favorite pliable hero with PLASTIC MAN ARCHIVES Volume 3 - a
216-page hardcover written and illustrated by Jack Cole. This volume
features an introduction by Michelle Urry, cartoon editor for Playboy
Magazine, who gives an overview of Cole's career with a special focus on his
gag cartoon work (including for early Playboy) after leaving comics.
Volume 3 shows Cole really starting to hit his stride with Plastic
Man's adventures, reprinting POLICE COMICS #31-39 and PLASTIC MAN COMICS #2
(spanning 1944-45) - with even more outrageous stories and inspired art than
the first two volumes! And this time Plas's gangland adversaries begin to
match Plas himself in sheer zanninness: Froggy Fink, underworld killer;
Serena Sloop, defender of "poor misguided" crooks; Slinky, Slimy and
Slippery Slade, elusive criminal brothers who lead Plas and Woozy on a wild
adventure; Elmer Body, the body-possessing nobody; Fargo Freddie, the
volcanic man; and more! Discover why the PLASTIC MAN ARCHIVES volumes have
proven to be one of the most popular series yet!
PLASTIC MAN ARCHIVES Volume 3 is a 216-page hardcover, arriving in
comic-book stores November 14 with a cover price of $49.95 U.S.
SUPERBOY #94
The Teen of Steel is headed in an all-new direction with an all-new
creative team, starting in SUPERBOY #94, by writers Jimmy Palmiotti
(Deadpool, Ash) & Dan Didio, and the art team behind JENNY SPARKS: THE
SECRET HISTORY OF THE AUTHORITY, penciller John McCrea (HITMAN) & inker
James Hodgkins. The new creative team's debut issue is also topped off with
an eye-catching cover by J.G. Jones (Marvel Boy, Black Widow)!
In SUPERBOY #94, the Kid must face what could very well be his
greatest challenge: finding an apartment! Without Cadmus around, the Kid
will need a new place to stay. But Superboy's never lived on his own
before, and he's about to discover that apartment-hunting is nowhere near as
easy as it sounds! Where will he go, and how will he able to afford his own
pad? Along the way, Superboy learns the struggle that the everyman has to
deal with day to day in a normal life - and he'll find dealing with
super-villains is a piece of cake in comparison!
The series takes a more down to earth tone as the Kid goes through
many personal changes in his relationships as well as a further
understanding of his powers and his true purpose in life. Once he settles
into his new pad, a whole new cast of characters become a part of his life.
But with that, a new set of adventures await the Teen of Steel! Issue #94
serves as a great jumping on point for new readers as well as a bold new
direction for those loyal fans of SUPERBOY.
SUPERBOY #94 is a 32-page issue edited by Mike McAvennie arriving in
comic-book stores November 21 with a cover price of $2.25 U.S.
