my choices are:
* Witchblade (a Witchblade cartoon on CN would rock!!! :D)
* Spawn (another Spawn series would be cool or they could play the re-runs on Adult Swim)
* Gen-13
* Danger Girl

What the heck is wrong with you people? You all forgot Bone!
Jeff Smith's Bone. Excellent comic. Must....be......animated.
I love it, but don't see how Penny Arcade could work as a TAS.

Scud: The Disposable Assasin. Mmmhmm.
After ZIM, I'd like to see a mini-series of "I feel sick." That'd be neat.
And wern't there a few Bone animated shorts? And I think a series was in the planning process, but it just disappeared for some reason. But, there is an animated movie in development, last I heard.

Personally, I would definately see anything from Eros Comics :D.
But since that probably will NEVER happen, I'll settle for Gen 13 and Danger Girl ;) .
Later.

Howdy,
Jeff Smith was an animator at one point in his lifetime, I think, so animated Bone isn't out of the question. I think he was talking to somebody about it, but it never came to fruition. I'd totally dig animated Bone.
Grendel animated would be neat, too, as long as they don't go too far into the comic series. I always thought it got too big for its britches by the time they hit the Grendel Khan stories. A straight retelling of Batman/Grendel with BTAS character designs would be beyond cool.
Speaking of Matt Wagner's stuff, I think Mage: The Hero Discovered would make a far better animated movie than a live-action one. Guess which one they're making.

That would be kind of tough, considering that you kind of have to know who Devi is and her backplot to understand the miniseries. Maybe if they explained Nny or animated the meanwhile that introduces Devi, it'll be good.

What would be so tough about it? Her experience with Nny is just one story of a million, and I really don't think it would matter in the least. Just add a few narratives here and there, show her working on her painting, the mysterious voice, reveal a number of her bad dating/people experiences. Throw in the squeeky one known as Spooky, and all is fine with the world.
Remember, JTHM and I Feel Sick are two different stories. :rolleyes:

Usagi Yojimbo would make a kickass cartoon! So would Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. So would Lenore, too.

Sorry, but there won't be a Bone cartoon. He got very close to making a movie with Nick, but they decided to be *******s and demand that teenybopper songs and such be put in, and he decided to scrap the idea rather than have the comic's reputation tarnished.
I LOVE YOU, NICK! :mad:

Well, good old Jeff Smith has stated that he will continue to try to make a Bone movie according to Comics2film. Smith says that he has many offers from other studio besides Nick.

Why does everyone and their mother want to see Lenore animated? Have any of you actually READ lenore? I have and it's unbearable. I can't stand it. It's like a 3 year old drawing pictures as some guy twists and suckifies various Edgar Allen Poe poems into meaningless comic un-funnyness, and mixes it all together into just another Jhonen Vasquez rip-off strip which ultimately comes off as bland, uninspired, and complete horrid trash. Could someone please tell me what redeeming qualities it has? Seriously?! Lenore is the most mind numbingly terrible comic I have ever read. And I'm not trying to trash you the fans, I just want to know what is actually GOOD about it that makes all of you actually want to see it animated?
Haha, sorry that I do come off as a bit...cruel? But I seriously can't stand it, and seeing as how so many people are saying "Lets see Lenore animated", I just got to know...WHY? :confused:
Edit/addition: Also, I understand that not everyone here was suggesting a Lenore series, but I've been hearing a lot of "pro-lenore" stuff, and many "animated Lenore" comments for a couple months, and I just now decided to explode... :D
