Remember in the ACME HOUR thread where we got the idea to send in some ideas for CN Acme Hours? Well, I did some asking around. It turns out Jerry Beck did us a heck of a favor, everyone should be in on this:

The guys who program those shows (I think the Termite Terrace board has

they could program different cartoons and had better prints. They are at the
mercy of what Warner Bros. has provided to them, and the network's standards
& practices department. When you see an uncut cartoon slip through, that's
the work of one of those guys trying to do what they really want. I've met
these guys, and they know what they are doing. They are smart and are real
cartoon freaks who love the cartoons and want to present the kind of
programming you want.
Sending them a list (or lists) of programming suggestions won't make them
happen. These guys are paid to do this programming. Then again, I think
sending in lists are good idea because they reflect what the fans want. I
don't want to discourage you. "

suggestions. I can't give out his e-mail address. There is no central e-mail
address to send him directly. But what I did was to show him the TERMITE
TERRACE TRADING POST. If you post suggestion there "To: GAK" he will read
them."
