Just click on the link at the bottom of my signature, and then click on "Polls" (as if that would've been hard to figure out :)).

By the way, no guys in here find my favorite quote (in my signature) offensive, do they? =X

It might be true. What does offend me is when a girl says Men Suck referring to all men and that simply is not true. There are good men in the world but we're hard to find. Thinking about your quote, it's possible that even the best of men in the world might be a jerk sometimes. I know i've been once or twice, i'm not proud to say.

Why, of course I'm not offended, I don't really think this particular crowd is all for political correctness anyway. It kind of reminds me of a funny quote that sort of goes the other way:

"Ah, sure, I know! But aren't they all witches inside?" --Bugs Bunny, after turning Witch Hazel into a female rabbit.

And I took the Disnip Poll, it was fun!

Men are idiots,
Women are Borg.

Seems to sum it up...

Yeah, I don't agree with girls that say that ALL men suck. As for jerks, well, I can think of a few I had to deal with in the past...and they weren't just jerks sometimes. They were jerks all the time.

Thanks! But it wasn't a Disnip Poll. It was a DisNEY poll. =X

I just realized how much nicer my avatar looks with a white background compared to the darkish background on the WBC boards. :)

Well, my third ex was so far out-there nuts, I'd begun to think she was from Jupiter, maybe even Outer Saturn.
And I'm grateful no one has yet suggested that either gender hails from Uranus. :o  :D

Sorry, but I must try to salvage the distinction between 'sex' and 'gender' (I gave up on as/like years ago).

'Sex' identifies chromosal composition. Possible values: female, male. (Belch - don't go there - we have children present - let's keep it to 99.999% of cases)

'Gender' identifies social/cultural traits ASSOCIATED WITH the sexes. Possible values: Feminine, Masculine.

for extra credit, explain the difference between 'celibacy' and 'chastity'...

Paraphrased from Webster's:

CELIBACY: (1) a state of not being married; especially through abstention by vow (2) abstaining from carnal relations.

CHASTITY: a quality or state of sexual purity or virginity (2) Sonny and Cher's lesbian daughter

I use "gender" because all my biology and psychology textbooks use it when speaking of male and female animals. They reserve "sex" for carnal relations. They say it eliminates confusion.

Grade: C- (should not have needed a dictionary); why did you feel obliged to include Chastity's sexual orientation?

If you don't want us using them, why is it listed in the [expletive deleted] syllabus? If I'm going to spend an extra six bucks on a book, I'm dang sure going to use it.

In the immortal words of Babs Bunny, "I just can't help myself." :D

Funny, I was just thinking about this subject this morning. Not all men are stupid, rowdy slobs. Think about it: Lincoln, Einstien, Shakespeare, Ben Franklin... "male chauvinist pigs"? I think not.
