I am referring to a message board. How come Marvel doesn't have one?? If they do have one, can you post the link here?
If not, can you guys recommend some message boards devoted to Marvel (DC too but only if you want)?? As usual, I appreciate all helpful feedback. Thank you.

Marvel had them, but closed them down before their latest revamp. For some reason, they never re-opened them. www.comicboards.com and the forums at www.x-mencomics.com/xfan are the creme of the crop!

For the most part the DC boards are uncivilized in the extreme. Theirs more smoke than light over there. Just my 2 cents, but I gave up on those boards a long time ago, a lot like the Justice League board here.

A lot of discussions over on the DC Boards turn into flame wars. Divergent opinions are not welcomed, especially on the DC Direct boards. Forum moderators seem to be almost non existant. And their is little if any flow of information. The boards here at ToonZone are by far light years above and beyond the DC Boards.

The DCMBs crack me up. There's no sense of order among the members OR the "moderators" (who only take care of the problems when they're reported).
As for the Marvel MBs, they took 'em down to direct their funding to Dotcomics and the such.

I've only been to the Batman and Superman ones and for the most part I get responses.
The thread you see about the issue covers archive I posted at DC.com and the sites I got back were not what I was looking for. Still, I get responses.

One of the reasons the Marvel Boards were shut down was becuase of the massive amounts of trolling on the boards. Not only that, but creators who had their own boards on the site, were getting attacked by rabid fans. Chris Claremont had a board that was bombarded with flamebait and viscious attack after attack. They remained up (I think) for 4 - 6 months before being taken down. Marvel has no plans to put them back up for the foreseeable future.
Let's just say this...the DC Comics Board looked calm compared to the Marvel Comics Boards.
