Delta Education, LLC, launched a new series of science activity kits designed to appeal to young girls and boys, fans of the Cartoon Network's "The Powerpuff Girls".

Every four to six weeks, children who enroll in The Powerpuff Girls Club, available exclusively from Troll at Home Book Clubs, receive a new Delta Education activity kit that is designed to educate and entertain children.

<img src="http://www.toonzone.net/shows/images/cartoon-network/t-ppg10.gif" align="right">"The Powerpuff Girls Club is an exciting new way to bring science to children outside the classroom," said Louisa Walker, Vice President, Special Markets, for Delta Education. "Then children bring their excitement and interest back into the classroom to approach learning in a highly motivated way."

"The Powerpuff Girls" is a very popular animated show on Cartoon Network. Created by Craig McCracken in 1998, the girls have a mission: To save the world before bedtime. In each episode, Buttercup, Bubbles, and Blossom match wits and muscle with a variety of villains. The show's increasing popularity led to The Powerpuff Girls movie, which opened on July 3, 2002 to excellent reviews.

"The Powerpuff Girls Club builds on the visual flair and creativity of the series with hands-on activities," explained Walker. "And our activities -- like the series -- are all about empowerment. We're telling girls and boys it's ok to be successful in any arena -- from superheros to scientists."

The Troll at Home Club, a Mahwah, New Jersey company, is available through school programs. Parents or guardians enroll their children in the Club, using forms provided by their child's school. Every four to six weeks, participating students receive a new activity kit that combines their favorite cartoon characters, lots of fun, and hands-on scientific concepts...all in one package.
