On Saturday, August 17, Kids' WB! dominated the Saturday morning broadcast competition to finish as the #1 network in Kids 2-11 (2.2/12), Kids 6-11 (2.6/14), Boys 2-11 (2.7/14), Boys 6-11 (3.6/18) and Tweens 9-14 (2.5/17). The network achieved significant year-to-year growth in Kids 2-11 (+29%/+50%), Kids 6-11 (+37%/+40%), Boys 2-11 (+23%/+40%), Boys 6-11 (+38%/+50%), Girls 2-11 (+55%/+50%), Girls 6-11 (+36%/+29%) and Tweens 9-14 (+67%/+70%). Among Kids 2-11, Kids' WB! outperformed CBS (1.8/10), ABC Kids (1.4/8) and Fox Kids (0.8/4).
The hot new series "ˇMucha Lucha!," which celebrates Latin culture and Mexican masked wrestling, entered the ring on Saturday in the 10:30 a.m. ET time slot and led the broadcast competition as one of the top five programs for the morning among Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11, Boys 6-11, Girls 2-11 and Girls 6-11. The all-flash animated series topped its time period broadcast competition to rank #1 in Kids 2-11 (2.7/12), Kids 6-11 (2.8/13), Boys 2-11 (2.9/12), Boys 6-11 (3.2/14), Girls 2-11 (2.6/12) and Tweens 9-14 (2.3/13).
Additional Saturday morning highlights include:
- "Yu-Gi-Oh!," at 11 a.m. ET, ranked among the top 10 overall programs for the morning in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11. The animé hit captured the #1 broadcast program spot among Kids 6-11 (3.3/15) and Boys 6-11 (4.5/20), and the #2 broadcast spot among Kids 2-11 (2.9/13) and Boys 2-11 (3.4/16).
- The animé-adventure "Pokémon: Johto League Champions," in its 10:30 a.m. ET time period, led the broadcast competition as the #1 program for the morning in Kids 2-11 (3.0/14) and Boys 2-11 (3.6/17). The series also dominated its time period broadcast competition among Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 (3.1/15), Boys 2-11, Boys 6-11 (4.4/21) and Tweens 9-14 (2.8/17).
- At 9:00 a.m. ET, "Jackie Chan Adventures" ranked #1 among the time period competition, including cable, in Boys 6-11 (4.3/23) and Tweens 9-14 (3.2/25), and among the time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (2.3/13), Kids 6-11 (2.9/17) and Boys 2-11 (3.0/16).
- "Jackie Chan Adventures," in its bonus 9:30 a.m. ET airing, beat the time period competition in Boys 6-11 (4.4/21) and Tweens 9-14 (3.4/22), and ranked #1 among the time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (2.6/13), Kids 6-11 (3.2/17) and Boys 2-11 (3.3/15).
