I REALLY REALLY HATE not being able to come here daily anymore, I was actually starting to get in the habbit of like 15+ posts a day during this summer, but now...school has started. I know there are increasing pressures to get into universities, and in my state it's no joke. North Carolina has the most difficult public school system in the nation, we have to work on a seven point grading scale (ex: an 80 is a low C not a B), we are required to do a senior year long project, and now I have found out we must do one this year as well (I'm a junior), also we can't fail any classes or we cannot graduate, and we take tests that make up a whole third of our YEAR grades.
I am sorry for whining as I'm sure you all haveto work hard too, and I dislike doing it but the work load is already killing me on day 2. I feel physcially DRAINED. I signed up for AP courses to top it off becuase in this dumb state you can't get into any of the big schools if you don't have a 4.0 and take upper level classes...and also play a sport (but I did football the first two years that should take care of that). Obtaining a 4.0 is even more difficult to get on a seven point scale, and I have to particapte in several clubs, I have 60 plus pagesof work a night, I mean WOW. I'm dead. Sorry guys, if you see me on the boards in the next few monthes it will be very very occasional. I may pull off 2 or 3 posts a day on my lighter days...but I'll be gone for a while...farewell.

Have fun at school! We'll miss ya. I remember I took a break from World's Finest during my Junior year because I needed to pay attention to school work....course it kept calling me back so I came back to it and TZ after only a few months...hardest months of my life *sniffles*. Hope you manage to pop around now and again.

I feel your pain, Zorbrak. I too had to attend CMS public schools- and they suck. A junior exit project on an American author, sometimes you even get to chose it! Then a senior exit project that has to prove something. Mine was how my high school would turn out to be a breeding ground for jocks. And whataya know? Their quarterback's in the sports section of USA Today this very day... I made up the first part, the second part is, unfortunately, true. Good luck, Zorbrak, and if you need help, don't look to your teachers. :p

My school's grading scale is the same way, unless a teacher choices to do it diffrent. Well, good luck at school! I know you will come back with in a few days :p

Wow, that sound's pretty dang heavy!

But it sounds like it will be good for you. Survive that kind of preparation and you'll be ready to take on anything!

Good luck to you, and come back when you can.

Well this won't set my posting rate back to normal but of all the bad luck I've had I finally got some good luck! The staff has decided a Junior exit project will NOT be happening! I still got everyhting else to deal with though but I thought I'd give you all a small update on that...also thanks for the kind words :) it means alot to me.

Well, look at the bright side. Once school's over and summer begins, you'll have tons of time to hang out in TZ once again.

Of course, that's not gonna happen for a LOOONG time.
