I am terribly suprized to see that Disney actually put EFFORT into SOMETHING! And it being what it is...well...my jaw dropped.

This is some goood stuff. I was a little iffy as to whether or not I wanted to get it when it comes out on DVD...now I'm 100% sure, I gotta get me some of this. :D

:eek: I'm also suprise that, Disney is actually going to put their name along side an anime title. I original thought, that they were going to distributed from their parent company Miramax. :rolleyes: The movie itself looks very excellent. :cool:

The trailer does mention "Disney Studio" not "Miramax" so I guess Disney is directly involved with the film.

I've seen the movie... it's a masterpiece!
It certainly lives up to the trailer :)

Perhaps not quite as good as some of Miyazaki's earlier stuff ( Totoro & Kiki ), but it's still brilliant. Best animated movie since The Iron Giant

I noticed that the announcer pronounces "Studio Ghibli" with a soft "G", like "giblet", instead of a hard "G" as in "gopher".

Twice.

Is that the preferred pronounciation of "Ghibli"?
