View Full Version : What the...??
CN has gone plumb loco tonight. Some big time technical problems. The sound went out on The Bob Clampett Show (during HARE RIBBIN'), and stayed off through at least the start of PORKY AND DAFFY (I tuned away). Later, during The Tex Avery Show, (soon after MAGICAL MAESTRO got started) the picture abruply cut back to The Bob Clampett Show, again with no sound! Again I tuned away, came back later and they were showing MAGICAL MAESTRO again (no sound). I don't think they've got it straightened out yet, as of this writing.
Maybe these are rare silent versions of these cartoons? Or has CN started censoring entire soundtracks now?;)

I didn't have any sound problems, but I did see some flipping between Bob Clampett Show and Tex Avery. After the commercial break for Clampett, they started showing Tex, then just after the opening credits and before Magical Maestro, they went back to Clampett and showed Porky's Movie Mystery. There were more problems later with Tex's show too. Weird how we seemed to have different problems at about the same time.
On Toonheads, they started asking the trivia question, but it got cut off and they showed "The Wacky Wabbit." Then they asked the question again and the show was back on track.
BTW, what was on the Jones show today? Was it screwed up too?

You must've tuned back in to the show that first time when they started Tex by mistake after that first commercial break. So actually, we saw the same stuff. But I don't know why the sound was different. They didn't actually start Magical Maestro, but were about to when they returned to Clampett. Then when Clampett was over, they started Tex's show from where they left off.

Ugh. After they cut from the Clampett show into the Tex Avery show early, I figured they chickened out of showing Porky's Movie Mystery, and were showing an extended version of the Avery show, or something. I don't really follow MGM cartoons, so I went and took my shower.
So they did cut back to Clampett? I guess I don't have a chance on catching Movie Mystery again anytime soon.

Yup, I think they went back to Movie Mystery pretty quickly, before Magical Maestro even started. But that Clampett show will be on this Fri. so you can catch it then.

Unfortunately, it won't be on this Friday because of the 52 hour "Big Pick" Cartoon Cartoon marathon.
