Message Board Redesign Talkback

Hey hey, I really dig the new background here. :) Am I to assume that every board is getting a new one? I just saw the BSBB board and it did, too.

As of right now, just these 2 boards. They're the main World's Finest boards, and Jim decided it was time for them to get a makeover. So, why not have it coincide with the new WF? That was 2 days ago... and here we are! Hope everybody likes it! :)

That's the JL craft, ugly old thing that it is..!

I like the natural colour scheme. Nice. Again, not intrusive!

The logo image is the Javelin-7, choice of transportation for the Justice League.

I'm sorry to be a spoilsport, but, I don't like it... the dull, brown backround color is not very pleasant to look at, and the Javelin-7 is nowhere near as cool as seeing the seven heroes in all their glory at the top of the screen. Is it too late to change it back? :(

I like everything except the Javelin-7.. i think the JL Tower or whatever its called would have been a better choice.

I like it! I mean, the new background is kinda weird lookin, but I like it. I think I'd rather have the Watchtower or the actual 7 members at the top, but I'll get over it! :p It's not a major thing. Overall, I like the new look better!

About the logo... I was trying to be different when I made that. The JL members are in the BG, so I didn't see the need to put them in the logo aswell. When I made the new BSB and JL board logos, I wanted them to be recognized at a glace. That would be hard to do with all 7 members up there, plus the text. Sure, all 7 members up there are neat, but run into the ground if you ask me. Everybody does that, I choose to be different. So, I wound up using the J7. I knew when I choose it, that not everybody would like it. But that's perfectly okay! Give 'er some time, you'll get used to it. :)

How the heck did you not know what the Javelin 7 looked like Chibi? Although, I'm going to have to agree w/ you on that one. They could have made such a better choice then that spacecraft.

The Javelin isn't in every episode. Casual viewers who don't watch the show all the time might not recognize it at a glance.

all the more reason! Viewers won't know what it is and then when they find out, they'll be like "oh, cool. never seen it before". Adding the Watchtower or the League (again) up there is too predictable..I was actually surprised when I saw the logo--I too was like "uh..o.k.."..but I must say, it's gotta be one of the coolest logos I've seen Flash make so far...it's grown on me that much, and that fast..

I also hate to be the downer, but I did kind of like the other design better for both background and header. This one isn't bad, but I just personally preferred the other one.

Neither is the Watchtower or all 7 members. ;) The Batmobile wasn't in every Batman episode. I was just trying to be different – out of the ordinary. Name another site that uses the J7 as their logo... for anything. Sorry, but it's gunna stay this way for a while. It'll be like Toon Zone's new look -- you'll get used to it.

I like the spaceship at the top, but the background is "eh". One of the main things I liked about the background was looking at the different characters. With this (more the Batman, Superman, and Beyond board), it's hard to tell who's in the background.

Whoa I didn't even notice that those were JLers in the background. Yeah I'm not sure how much I'm liking the brown color.

To be completely honest, I liked the other design a lot better. Although the other logo was better, IMO, I can probably get used to the Javelin-7. As for the brown background. . . well, that's another matter.:eek:

I liked the other design better, too, CC. Don't get me wrong-- I love the new WF site, and I don't really mind the Javelin-7 at the top, but I'm not particularly fond of the brown background. Imo, it's too dark, and it makes it very difficult to tell which JLers are there. (Btw, are all seven members in the background?)

Yep, all 7 are in there. They're shots from the commercial bumpers.

ummm I like the old background better but I can deal with this one. This is not one of TZ's better background but still nice. It's kinda plain. I give this background a: 6
