The World's Finest "Website" Talkback

The revamped World's Finest is up, and we want to know what you think. This is a big change for the site. Bird Boy and Flash put in many, many hours to get this perfected. This is the first massive overhaul of the site, a complete change. We have all new content and revised pages. True, some sections were deleted, but the new content of the site, and a new look, guarentees many hours of searching and just checking the information on the site. We have an all new Gotham Girls section online, among the other new sections and content. There's to much to even mention - so go look!

Also, please post honest comments and talkback. We really want to here what you have to say about the new site look. All your likes and dislikes are taken very seriously, so please tell us.

Fantastic...and I've only seen the main page! You can bet I'll be roaming around WF for the rest of tonight! Awesome job you guys, the changes are so amazingly kick butt. lol, seriously, I am so easily amused by the taskbar on the left. When I first saw a little Batman on the building, I was like, woh dude, it's Batman! And then I got even more excited seeing that each page had some different little icon on the taskbar...like I said, easily amused. But it's a great touch, love it!

I love the new JL board look! :cool:
This board certainly is blue, but that just so happens to be my favorite color. ;)

The new site logo is extremely cool. I like it a lot.
The navigation with the building and Batman on top is very clever.

I just wish I had more time now, but you can bet I'll it it hard when I get back on the net in Sept.

There's not much more I can say except that it was worth the wait! Its rare that to see a site so graphic intensive that loads so quickly and remains practical and easy to navigate and use. The graphics really are... well, Batman-esque as Kylewayne said :D , and I love the menu and the ever-changing hero residing on top! The only complaint I have is that some of the older thumbnails are still 'squished' - Otherwise, I'm gonna enjoy reading the new stuff and re-reading the old! Great job everyone!

Excellent job, guys. I love the WF logo. And the little animated pic of Bats or Supes on top of the building is a great touch. BTW, just to let you know, I voted for the site, but the WF banner at the voting site didn't load. You might want to notify the voting site about that. Anyways...it looks great! Congrats!

Great job on the site! It looks fantastic! The logo looks great, and I also found myself amused with the little Batmans and Supermans on top of buildings....a little too amused (staring at them for a couple hours doesn't mean there's something wrong, does there?). Anyway, I just finished looking at EVERYTHING (minus every Bat-episode review...since they weren't re-done, although they look great already). The layout looks really nice, and everything is just....great! Nice job on the re-vamp Bird Boy and Flash (and anyone else involved)! I think I'll go look it over again...

I've noticed the Batman biographies included not only those of the main chacters from the officail pages, but also of more minor chacters that have previously been ignored, such as Wormwood and Boxy Bennet
Why not add the same also to the Superman bios? That show also have some good minor chacters. General Hardcase, det. Kurt Bowman and Titano spring to mind.
And of course, great job!

Wow! The new look is awesome!! I love all the new logos and colors, and the site has an overall sleeker look! I especially am glad to see that "Gotham Girls" got a page of their own with a guide(thanks Jim!) and everything! BB, Jim, Flash, and anyone else who worked on it, ya'll did a great job!

Wow!! This is indeed a big change! The site looks terrific! I love seeing the animated characters atop the building upon entering the site. What a neat idea! I've seen Batman, Superman, Supergirl . . . it's cool to see which character will pop up on the building next. :cool:


The BS&B board is certainly very different from what I'm familiar with, but I'll get used to it.

The look of the site is sleeker and more modern, and it really is great to have WF fully functional again. To everyone involved, you did a magnificent job. Thanks! :)

After spending way too much time browsing around WF, I have to say "Great job!" and a hearty thank-you to Bird Boy, Flash, and the rest of the TZ staff for assembling such a thorough and excellent resource to the Animated Age. Bravo!

If I had to point to one thing on the site I'd change, though, I'd say it would be to remove the background images on the heavily text-based pages. The images make the text a lot harder to read.

This site is amazing, and has plenty of features to go around w/o getting bored. Love the menu bar, those characters look cool on top of the building. I also like how there is a different font for each section of the site (batman, bb, superman, etc...). Honestly, there really isn't anything there that I can say is nad. To all the people that worked on the site, VERY GOOD JOB!!! :D

Thanks for the kind comments, everybody! Just thought I’d give my props to Bird Boy, for all his HTML/PHP work. (Fast HTML work, I might add.) He and I spent about a month in a half on this thing… We worked together for about 10 hours a day, each day. It’s a wonder we never got sick of each other. Also thanks to Jim, for his awesome site and letting us mess it all up! I'm glad to see everybody is enjoying it, I’m just happy it’s done. :)

Well Bird Boy, on the old Toon Zone board there was this place called the Batman-Superman and Beyond Fan Fiction boards. I know plenty of people who switched over here when you all changed providers or whatever. NEway, when we came to toon zone there was a link to the old boards called just that, "old boards", then it was changed to WF archives. I bookmarked it on my server when I started having troubles finding the link through this site. When WF got a rehaul I tried my old bookmark to see if I could get back into that old action and I couldn't. It has a police officer there blocking my path. Dagnabbit, I'd love to read mine and other's old stuff again, but can't until you all fix the problem.

Yeah that was me a while ago promising I'd be back after I had some more time to look around. Well I finally did so here I am!

First off I must say all of the new backgrounds and displays are just plain cool! Plus I clicked around the site to see all the different characters that appear on the building top and that is even cooler! :cool:

Everything just looks bigger and better and I really like the changes. (ok so maybe not exciting and in-depth, but there's just sooo much good stuff!)

Quite impressive. It's always nice to have things change every once and a while. All the little characters on the building tops are a great litttle touch. THE FAQ section is quite enjoyable to read, even though I know most of it.

Anyway, I do have one thing to ask... Any chance that we'll get some more episode reviews up. Frankley I'm kinda shocked that "Apokalips...Now!" doesn't have a review. This is just a little question. Heaven knows you guys have already put a ton of work into the site. And if you guys are too swamped to do it, would you accpet thoughtful reviews from other folks that we e-mail to you or something.

Again great site. Been frequenting it for a few years now, it's always one of my first stops every day when I'm checking up on my daily news.

We're working on getting the final episode of Batman Beyond ("Unmasked") reviewed--in fact, I daresay that might be up before weeks end.. ;)

As for the STAS ep reviews...yeah, we're behind. But, don't worry. All STAS eps reside in my home now, and I'll be screen-grabbing them like crazy for the review pages.

We already have fellow poster Brainiac reviewing the STAS eps--how many, I'm not 100% sure..

Anyway, first off I'll say I love it. I absolutely love it to death. It just looks awesome. I love the new section for Gotham Girls and the pages for Static Shock and The Zeta Project, too. The new backgrounds are really cool -- though they make it hard for me to read the site a bit. And I love the animated GIFs on the navigator bar. I also love how it's much easier to get to the sections, now that they're nice and prominently placed at the top of basically every page.

My absolute favorite thing is how a lot of the massively link-happy pages have gotten more organizied. Not that there was a specific thing wrong with eight hundred links on a page -- but the new set up for them looks very cool...Wait...no I take that back, my favorite thing is seening my name right under Borg's on the admin page. :D (Kidding!)

You all did a fantastic job. I really do love it.

Yep, yep, yep. First of all, thanks for not posting the link to it! Here's some info on the WF Easter Eggs. 8 of them in all. They will be changed every Easter. They hidden in various parts around the site, some are very hidden. There are also a couple bonus eggs, hidding, that arn't part of the regular 8. They're almost impossible to find. Also, those will never be changed or removed. Why? Can't tell ya. ;)

5 (I'm pretty sure) of the 8 eggs are currently up. We're, uh... talking to certain people, about doing certain things for the remaining eggs... (wink, wink) We'll get those up ASAP! :)
