Who do you think should be on the JS team when they (hopefully) make their appearance in the second season of Justice League. By most accounts it should be the classic team and not be composed of a lot of new guns like the team of today (although I like the current team more than I ever liked the old guys).

I would like to see the team made up of

Flash (Jay Garrick)

Wildcat (Ted Grant)
*did you know he taught Batman boxing during his his training period to learn from all the best fighters

Sentinel (formerly Green Lantern) aka Alan Scott

Mr. Terrific (Michael Holt)

Atom Smasher ( Albert Rothstein)

Sand ( Sanderson Hawkins)

Star Spangled Kid (Courtney Whitmore)

and

Power Girl (Karen Starr)

I know its hard to work with alot of characters 7 Justice Leaguers plus my 8 Justice Society members plus whatever villian they fight would be more than enough.

I think would prefer the old team to the new one, here's my list

Flash (Jay, of course)
Sentinel/GL
Wildcat
Black Canary
Dr. Mid-nite
Hourman
Atom

I wonder how well Shade's power would work against Dr. Mid-nite
:)

I hope that they don't feel bad about using characters with powers that are pretty much the same as some JL members (Flash & GL) They might fear people getting names confused too, with the 2 Flashes, they could call Alan Scott by Sentinel instead of GL though.

I seem to recall hearing that the JSA would show up on the first season of JL.

Since this is the first time the JSA's showing up, I wanna see the classic guys:

Flash (Jay Garrick)
Green Lantern (Alan Scott)
Wildcat (Ted Grant)
Dr. Mid-Nite (Carles McNider)
Wonder Woman (Hyppolyta)
Sandman (Wesley Dodds)
Hourman (Rex Tyler)
Atom (Al Pratt)

I think I'd like to see the JSA make a guest appearance similar to the way Jonah Hex showed up in BTAS; in a flashback.

I know that Bruce Timm referred to the JSA and the "Earth-2 Atom", but introducing the idea of a parallel earth with another group of similar heroes seems like it might be a little much. Earth-2 hasn't even been seen in a DC Comic for about 15 years now. I also think that the other-earth concept could be put to better use in a future episode starring the Crime Syndicate as the villians.

And while it it would be cool to see the two groups interact, it looks like it would be a writing nightmare to not only introduce a group of new characters but also have them team-up with the JL at the same time.

In the interest of letting the JSA really get their moment in the sun and not bog down the script (or the viewers) with too many characters on screen at the same time, I'd love to see the JSA portion of the story take place while they are in their prime during the years of World War II. Perhaps their part of the story would set up a conflict in the present day that the JL would have to fix. (Maybe against the immortal Vandal Savage?)

And I would love to see those 1940's era retro cars and tommyguns that were always so cool in BTAS.

As for who I would like to see in the JSA line-up (boy, this is tough)

The Atom
The original Flash
Dr. Mid-Nite
Black Canary
The Spectre
Sandman or Starman
and Hippolyta as Wonder Woman (if they allow for an explanation of that in the episode focusing on Wonder Woman)

The original Green Lantern and Hawkman would have been a must, but I think it might be a little hard to explain how they connect to their modern-day alien counterparts without going into some very lengthy explanation.
