Hey all, well, I was able to grab some shots when I went to the San Diego Comic Con for a day. These pertain mostly to the animated Batman, so I figured even the semi-misc ones will work here. Enjoy!
Riddler, Ivy and Catwoman (http://www.toonzone.net/Barb/riddler_ivy_cat.jpg)
Joker and Harley (http://www.toonzone.net/Barb/jokerandharley.jpg)
now the misc:
Giant DC Logo (http://www.toonzone.net/Barb/dclogo.jpg)
Batman Poster (http://www.toonzone.net/Barb/batposter.jpg)
and my personal fav:
It's Superman! (http://www.toonzone.net/Barb/supes.jpg)
talk about timing on that last one. I was leaving the con just as he was coming to it and I seriously did a double take, I just couldn't miss a shot with him!

Nice pics. And I like your shirt, way to represent. :D Talk about a double take!! I thought that was Christopher Reeve for a second. I'm definately going next year. Nothing is getting in my way like the past 3 years. Hopefully.

I know, doesn't he so make a great Reeves look alike?! I mean, he even had it down to a similar nose and did the hair the same way and everything! I'm going for all four days next year, and if I have the cash, I'm making a Batgirl costume.

Wow! Great pics! Aw geez, now I hate myself even more for having no resources available to me that I could have gone! I'm kind of an amature photographer myself. That coulda been fun. And I'm sure it was. Cheers, Barb. :)

Hey Babs! Awesome pics! I love all the costumes (including your "Batgirl undercover" jean-shorts ensemble). So, if that guys ISN'T Christopher Reeve (which it obviously isn't...man, for a second I forgot he was stuck in a wheelchair now :( ) then who is it?
Like I promised already, I'm coming down next year for all four days, too. With my own costume...but based on the ones I just saw, I think I have to make my Two-Face costume a little snazzier. :)
Is anyone here a tailor?

I think I may have been in the back of the line waiting for the pink line shuttle, cuz I saw that same Superman at that spot outside the convention center where the pink signs are. I was also pointing him out to my friends because he did resemble the Christopher Reeves Superman. :)
Nice pictures. I really wish I had brought my camera when I was there after I saw all the neat costumes.

Howdy,
Cool pics! Sadly, I don't think I can dress up as any superhero for a comic con, except maybe the Blue Beetle during his "fat and out of shape" phase :).
There's a great shot of the Joker and Harley with a guy dressed as Batman riding in a pedicab (http://www.comicbookresources.com/columns/index.cgi?column=pipeline&article=1393) at Augie DeBlieck's "Pipeline" column at comicbookresources.com. Direct link to the image is here (http://images.comicbookresources.com/pipeline/sdcc_costumes.jpg), but his column's worth reading anyway).
Looking forward to seeing your smiling mug on the comic sites next year as "that fan with the amazing looking Batgirl costume."

Without sounding digustingly male, there certainly some attractive ladies doing a darn fine job at impersonating my favourite characters, and while Ivy and Catwoman are visually appealing, I thing Harley is very impressive. That's not to say the Riddler isn't impressive because he, erm, is..!
The DC logo, I assume after the photo you made the alterations to the C, to a G, as any self respecting Dick Grayson fan would..
OMG, a skinny Chris Reeves! Or is it really Superman? Problem is, will his super hearing notice the out of control bus that is speeding it's way towards you and more importantly, will he save the non-to-looking-distressed damsel?! :D

Wow Barb! Those are some great shots. And that Superman is the spitting image of Reeves! They should cast him in the next movie.

Great pics, Barb!
I, too, was in San Diego this year. I saw the Superman guy back in Artist's Alley. One of my buddies mentioned seeing the Joker and Harley but I didn't get to see them. And what a surprise...you really do look like Barbara Gordon.
It's cool to see other people's photos of a place you've just been...and surreal. One year, everyone from these boards that goes to the San Diego Con should all get together for a World's Finest lunch or something. Anyone else up for a six dollar hot dog?

Nice pictures. You are so lucky to have Comic Book Con in your town. I wish our town would have Comic Book Con. I never been to one before, can you describe one please? Is it as lovely, as your pictures? ;)

Barb!!!
Thanx so much for bringing the Comic Con to the rest of us, through your awesome photos! If you don't mind me saying, I really liked your face :p I guess I somehow got the idea that everyone who is on the internet is a fifty-year-old jobless man with deep mental problems - thanks for proving that theory wrong!!
I really must admit that I'm stunned by the authenticity of the costumes! Those folks looked very shway! God, I only wish that there was a Canadian comic con of the same proportions that I could attend. Oh, and I'm sure your Batgirl costume is going to kick butt! This was a real treat!
:D :D :D
YOU RULE!!!
