If the 35th Anniversary edition of Batman: The Movie is successful, do you think it will mean the eventual release of the 60s show on DVD?? That would be so sweet. And since its not Warner Bros. , its possible. What do you think? Would you like to see this show on DVD?

That would be sweet if the series were released on DVD. Ive been trying to get a certain, handful of episodes on tape when the sci-fi channel airs the show on "Superhero" Mondays.

Episodes I want are:

"Hi Diddle Riddle, Smack In the Middle"
"The Ring of Wax, Give em the Ax"
(Riddler was my favorite villain from the series, Its a bummer that they couldnt make him as manic as Gorshin on BATMAN-TAS)
1st Catwoman episode w/ Julie Newmar
"False-Face" (I thought this guy was hella cool, too bad they didnt make any more with him)
Green Hornet/Kato episode
Joker/Catwoman episode w/ Eartha Kitt
Mr. Freeze episode w/ Otto Preminger

FOX holds the rights to the TV series, so it's not out of the question. I believe it depends on the success of the movie's DVD release. Season sets would be beautiful...

I have no doubt in my mind the new DVD will sell well. It's only a matter of time before the series comes to DVD.
