I have this short on several compilation tapes. The quality ranges from good to crappy.
Cartoon Classics (Shokus): Fair
Racial Cartoons: Good
WWII Cartoons: Crappy
I was wondering, in the group's opinion, where have you seen the best version of this classic?

I have a copy of "Coal Black" that looks like a fully restored print of this film, as it's a so mint seeing this print. :D

My copy is pretty muddy. I hope to upgrade it sometime soon.

Which brings up an interesting question -- How would the Turner people have stuck the "dubbed version" end title notice on "Coal Black" if they had restored it? (Not that we really have to worry about that one ever happening...)

Yeah, my 16mm TV print is the best I've seen. I'd love for a 32mm to surface.

I have never seen a "good" copy of it. The quality of the cartoon on a public domain video tape I have is not good.
