Is Batman adventures

Based on episodes from the animated series or are they new stories? I know this is a question about comics but I figured I'd get a response faster in here.

Comic discussion base don the animated comics is allowed here :)

And the comics feature all new stories based on the continuity of the asnimated series (with a few exceptions here and there). I recommend picking up the earlier issues - true gems, as well as the recent Gotham Adventures #51.
