Can someone give me the dirt on Orpheus? Origin, age, real name, equipment, picture possibly? :confused:

Orpheus: son of Calliope the Muse, played a mean lyre, watched his wife die, went to Hades to get her back, lost her again because he couldn't keep his eyes forward for JUST THAT LITTLE BIT LONGER, got torn to pieces by the Maenads for not wanting to party with them.

If you read Sandman, his father was Morpheus, Lord of Dreams, and he (Orpheus) spent the next few thousand years post-tearing-to-pieces on an island in Greece as an immortal head.

Or did you mean a different Orpheus? :D.

Uhhh.... I meant the one that's part of the Batman family. First Appearence: Baman: Orpheus Rising #1.
