I thought I'd seen all the Maw and Paw cartoons. Where are these from?

Those images are from the SUGARFOOT cartoon "Hay Rube". Those two pictured are not Maw & Paw.

Yup, Sugarfoot actually started off as a solo cartoon character. He appeared in two cartoons, "A Horse's Tale" and "Hay Rube", before becoming a co-star in the later Woody cartoons.

I remember seeing "One Horse Town" in a theater with "Bon Voyage Charlie Brown (And Don't Come Back!)" back in 1980.

And all this time I thought Sugarfoot was originally Dirty McNasty's horse....
"Dirty McNasty" -- one of the best villain names ever. :bosko:
