This comes from comingsoon.net...
The Hollywood Reporter writes that scribe duo Tom Firestone and Martin Meunier have sold the pitch Antonius to Disney's feature animation division.
The project follows the story of a leopard in ancient Egypt who becomes a freedom fighter. It will be developed as a traditional animation project.
Hmmmm. A freedom fighting leopard in ancient Egypt? Sounds a little goofy. But when you put the words "Alien who crash lands in Hawaii who likes Elvis songs" together, it sounds goofy too. This will be interesting to see in 3 or 4 years, it if even comes together. This one sounds like it could be another PG rated Disney film. I hope it is. This one could be another surprise like Lilo and Stitch was.
