Why the cartoons "Good Night, Elmer" and "Bedtime for Sniffles" were never seen on CN? Isn't it offensive or very bad cartoons?

I have seen "Bedtime for Sniffles" before on CN and it is not, in my opinion, offensive.
Nothing is wrong with either, though "Bedtime for Sniffles" may not be shown very much because it is a Christmas cartoon. As for Goodnight Elmer, it is considered one of the worst cartoons ever made (don't ask me why, it's not a favorite of mine, but it's far far far from the worst), so maybe they just don't like playing it.
Personally, I wish they would show Mexican Joyride more often, it's a favorite of mine (too bad it's edited :( ).

Was Goodnight Elmer the short where Elmer is being annoyed by Sylvester?

"Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol", "Gift Wrapped", "Night Before Christmas (the Tom and Jerry cartoon) and "Fright Before Christmas" are also a Christams cartoons, but that's sometime airing.

"The Night before Christmas" aired today. The LT's have not aired in a while, but I would like to see them. :D

"Good Night, Elmer" is the one where Fudd fights a losing battle with various things (coats, hats, books, etc.) to try and get to sleep.
Yes, it's really slow at times, but I never found it as teeth-grindignly annoying as Jerry Beck and Will Friedwald did -- I thought Jones got a lot of personality animation into the candle, which is a pretty neat trick, and the amount of time spent in creating the effects images, mainly all of the Disney-flavored shadowing involved, made it one of the most detailed cartoons Warners ever put out (and Jones' design for Fudd in the cartoon -- modified slightly from the Avery/Givins look in "A Wild Hare" -- would eventually become pretty much the standard design for the character after his "fat period" from late 1941 to the fall of 1942).

i've seen "Good Night Elmer" a few times on CN. It's really not that bad a cartoon, but I would consider it one of Jones' weaker efforts. Well animated, well designed, but the timing is too slow at times, and the concept isn't particularly thrilling. "Bedtime for Sniffles" is played to death around holiday time, but I rearely see it any other time.

The Tom and Jerry cartoon "The Night Before Christmas" gets way too much airtime year-round.

"Good Night Elmer" is slightly underrated. However, it is not great.
