Today's tip: If you live anywhere near a fye music-and-movies chain store but haven't walked in lately, do so ASAP and see if there's a display of Previously Viewed Videos priced to go fast, right near the entrance.
Here's what I turned up today (8/8) on my lunch hour, at the nearest fye in Manhattan, all perfect in playback:
Warner Bros. Cartoon Cavalcade: Daffy Duck's Madcap Mania (1988): The Super Snooper, Daffy Duck Hunt, You Were Never Duckier, Golden Yeggs, Dime to Retire, and A Star Is Bored, plus back panel notes by somebody named Jerry Beck
Walter Lantz Presents: Man's Best Friend (1985): Helter Shelter, Man's Best Friend, Dog Tax Dodgers, Private Eye Pooch, Crazy Mixed Up Pup(!), Swiss Misfit, Dig That Dog, and Get Lost! Little Doggy
And from the always hard-to-come-by UPA:
Gerald McBoing Boing Presents Favorite Stories and Tales (1984) (five shorts evidently from CBS TV's "The Gerald McBoing Boing Show" circa 1956-57)(!!!): Turned Around Clown, The Unenchanted Princess (narrated by Edward Everett Horton, no less!!!!), The Freezee Yum Story, The Little Boy Who Ran Away, and Matador and the Troubador
So, now it's your turn. Happy hunting! :D
