... or something.
So how many of you out there are like me and would love to get some old school games back in the limelight?

It seems kind of unfeasible. Each card has 3k of data.
Thus you have 15k of space.
How the hell is an NES game going to fit in 15k? Even the earliest games are like.. 60k at the barest minimum.

We talked about this over at the other board. I really don't feel like paying for NES games these days, since I usually just play them on an emulator, for free, on the computer. Even so, I suppose it's a good effort by Nintendo to re-introduce some good classic games.

I'm really, really, really excited about the e-Reader. I'm glad to see Nintendo's giving some old-school love to the gamers. I'm picking up the reader, Animal Crossing, Balloon Fight, and a pack of Animal Crossing Cards on Sept. 16th. I might pick up a pack of Game & Watch cards too, and Excitebike if I don't unlock it in AC pretty quickly.
I'm so glad I had a job this summer. Otherwise, a poo' college boy like me couldn't afford all that.
Anyways, I like the lineup of NES stuff, but WHERE'S ICE CLIMBERS? I think that would be a huge seller, since everybody knows them from SSB:M.

I'm guessing they're compressed to hell. If they're doing it, they must have found a way.
We'll see, I suppose.

If they can fit the original Super Mario Bros. into a Gameboy cartridge,I'm sure they can fit any old school NES game onto those cards. :D

How is that magical?
The original SMB was a teeny tiny game in terms of filesize, I'm sure... it only had a sprinkling of different tiles. I'm not sure how much they can fit onto a Game Boy Color cart, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's ten times or more of SMB's filesize.

Ice Climbers will be appearing in GC's "Animal Crossing" as a playable NES game! That is, if you can find it... :D
