Tom & Jerry can be seen in the Esther Williams musical, "Dangerous When Wet" (1953) at 6 PM Eastern/5 PM Central Thursday,August 8.

Tom & Jerry appear in a dream sequence, coming to life off a comic book cover, and swim with the lovely Esther. It kind of reminds me of the the T&J short, "The Cat And The Mermouse."

You mean that Tom and Jerry appeared in a live action movie? :confused:

Yes. Tom gets considerably more screen time here than he did in Anchors Aweigh (1945). Jerry doesn't sing or speak in Dangerous When Wet. This sequence is more like Esther Williams was put in a Tom & Jerry cartoon rather than Jerry being an animated character in a live-action environment when he danced with Gene Kelly.
