Will there be a JLA animated comic book?

I've read on here that DC is cancelling their line of animated comics.:( While I hope this is not true, I am sure Dick Greyson has his facts straight. Which books are being axed? And will there be a comic book based on the upcoming JLA series?

Here we go! Superman Adventures will be cancelled with issue #66, in Febuary of 2002, although it's very possible it may be cancelled before that. Batman Beyond is unexpectedly getting the axe from DC this August, with issue #24! I'm confused why this book is being cancelled, since it sells the same as Batman: Gotham Adventures. As for Batman: Gotham Adventures, that book is safe for now. The sales in the direct markets and newsstands remain very healthy. And DC will be doing a series based on the upcoming JL cartoon called Justice League Adventures. I've heard two rumors on this. One, that the series will have a rotating art team, like the current issues of Superman Adventures. The other rumor I heard is that it will have an actual creative team, which is rumored to be Ty Templeton as writer, Min S. Ku as penciller, and Terry Beatty as inker. The second rumor sounds too good to be true, but this site's news page will keep ya updated on this. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip! Admittedly, I never came to this site until the World's Finest boards moved here, and that's all I've checked out are the Toon Zone Forums, so thanks for the tip on the news page. I will add that to my rotation of web pages I make a point to look at reguarlly!
