Well both of them are from two different universe and have diffrerent power.

One hand you got the extremly strong goku that can go super sayian 1 2 3 4.

vs Superman the who beat villains with powers somewhat like goku.

It depends on the situration,goku usaully try to reseason with the villains when he fights.



And superman don't really fight unless he have too.


I say they become freinds and hang out at superman fortress of solitude. :p

If it is the early dbz goku(Sayian saga through frieza saga) superman have a chance to beat goku.


But by the cell and buu sega I think goku too strong for superman to beat. ;)

I would want Superman to win, but when Goku goes saiyan, RUN! Superman would have to take him out immediately, an full-on assault in the first five minutes, primarily using his superspeed to counter Goku's fast martial arts ability. Superman should use every ability he has as soon as he can, the longer one fights Goku, the more likely Goku will just decimate at the end. If it goes to a second episode, it's over for Supes. Count on interference from Trunks, Piccolo, and the others by having Supergirl, Flash, and Green Lantern as back-up (from their guest appearences on Superman, not JL).

Superman wouldn't be able to touch anyone from the Dragonball universe. ANYONE! The Dragonball characters could never be touched by anyone from any other comic, cartoon or anime. They are in a league of their own. Sure, Superman once had the ability to knock planets out or orbit, or turn back time using his speed, but Dragonball characters could also do that without breaking a sweat. Can Goku blow up a planet? Sure, very eaisly. Could Superman? Nope. He has nothing but Super strength that could really harm any enemy. Could Superman take alot of ki attacks and keep fighting? No. Sure, bullets bounce off his body, but bullets were also bouncing off of Goku when he was 7. I mean, Superman could be the strongest Superhero of all time, but not him or any other superhero could ever touch Goku or anyone else in Dragonball.

Personally, theres no way Superman could beat Goku physically in a match. Through DBZ's storyline which thrives on exaggerating powerlevels, they've turned Goku into an uber-god, well actually, even more powerful than their version of God(searching for that nauseous smiley...)! He's pretty much invincible now, with no weaknesses and no discernable limits. I mean, sure Superman could cheat and call up favors on every super powered villain in every universe and make them all attack Goku at once, but even then I'd have doubts.

Oh! I'm sorry I didn't catch this thread sooner, because this is a very near and dear topic to me, since I'm such a superhero fanboy (never heard of that fanboy division? It's okay, I made it up :p). And Goku and Superman are two at the top of my list, in the top ten for sure. They're so alike too, very righteous, kind, considerate, yet for all their sympathies they're still EXTREMELY powerfull, which works well for the fighting side of good in good vs evil.

Truth be told, these guys would become friends. But Goku, and Superman in SOME respects at least, would be interested in a sparring match just to see who would win and to test themselves.

Up until a few weeks ago it was too hard for me to chose, as you could probably assume from my huge fandom of both the characters, but recently I've come to this. It's not what I'd prefer to happen or whatever, just simply what I found through looking at facts and fighting styles.

Superman is a solar energy battery, whereas Goku is just as powerfull as Clark is BUT needs to recharge himself eventually after a very very very long fight. So I think, since Clark's power wouldn't decrease after a while but Goku's would, then Superman would eventually win. Otherwise they MIGHT just have gone on for ever. :p

You guys seem to be forgetting that Superman is a seasoned vet in dealing with being of enormous, possibly earth-destroying power.

With decades of tatical and leadership experience in leading the JLA against universe-wide threats, not to mention his solo adventures, he's more than up to the challenge of a face-off with the now SuperSayian.

I don't understand why people think this thing'll just denergrate down to a fist fight with Goku and Supes just throwing blows and arm-wrestling each other in what would be nothing more than a overratted pissing contest.

It's obvious most of the people here neither understands who the Man of Steel is or what he's truly capable of, but you can bet this guy has a hell of a lot going for him then just the ability to squeeze coal into diamond with his hands.

Sure, granted Goku is stronger on paper, but newsflash, he ain't too bright. All his other foes (Frieza, Vegita, Cell etc.) just settled with trying to beat him to death when they could've easily used this glaring disadvatage Goku has to take him out alot more efficiently. :rolleyes: :p

My money in this matchup is on Supes using that to his advantage and putting the Sayian down in a way that'll surprise even him.

I don't really like or hate DBZ, but Goku is faster and prolly stonger...but it really just all depends... they live in different universes with different physics laws...Superman is definately smarter and could liekly out smart Goku so I think it's an even match that cannot be determined until one sees it.
