Wildstorm yesterday announced that it had acquired the comic book adaptation rights to "Robotech". The first Wildstorm Robotech comic will be set during the Macross part of the series, and as such features the most familiar Robotech characters such as Roy Fokker and Rick Hunter.
The project is spearheaded by Robotech creative director Tommy Yune, with script by Jay Faerber ("Noble Causes") and art by creative staff at UDON, whose credits include work on Marvel's "Deadpool".
