View Full Version : Does anybody have any new news on the new TMNT series?

I can't wait for this show. Finally the Turtles are back in action :D I just want to know does anybody know any new infomation on TMNT like characters, storylines, or even the action figure line?

It will be on Fox, beginning in January, at 10 a.m. Saturdays.

From what I can remember, it will be more true to the comic-book treatment of the story.

As of right now it's scheduled to begin in January but given it's Fox they usually wait until February to begin their new shows (this happened with Silver Surfer).

As for some info - the animation is being done by the same company that does Jackie Chan Adventures and MIB:The Series. It will also have a slightly darker look to it (think Batman Beyond) and should have a better mixture of seriousness and a darker humor - much like the original comic series did.

Well it looks like the CG animated movie is indeed dead. Also it doesn't look like the new TMNT series will make a January premeire. For more info click here (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&postid=388171#post388171)

Well, according to the article, I hope the other stuff holds up Fox Box until the new series arrives. Perhaps they are waiting for other series to finish their runs around the normal time of February, so that kids will have some new and highly popular in March to enjoy.

It's too bad about the CG film. I was actually liking the idea.
