a question about IE. has this ever happened to you?

i want to save an html file on to my hard drive and when i do, there is this folder that was created when i saved the html file. because i only want the html file, i decide to get rid of the folder that went along with it when i saved the html file. when i deleted the folder, the html file was deleted along with the folder. what is with that? are the folders and the html file linked? if i were to go into the folder and delete everything, the html file would still be fine. now if i were to remove the folder, the html gets deleted. this really annoys the hell out of me.

I have the same problem... what you do,is use the pulldown menu and select "Save as WebArchive Single File Only" and it'll just save that one specific webpage....I found that out by fiddling with it after awhile.

I hate to post right after myself..but..I was just wondering if you saw my reply Oranthal. It got knocked off of page 1 very quickly. I just wanted to boot up again so see if you saw it!
