Looks likely that Digimon will be on the network in some form. I sent an e-mail over to my local UPN affiliate, and here's what I got in response, which includes a full schedule.(think Hamtaro on Toonami was bad? Wait until you see this...)
---
Hello - Digimon will join the UPN Kids block this fall. It will premiere
Monday, September 9 at 4pm. It will also air on Sunday mornings at 11am,
beginning Sunday, September 15.
The full kids lineup will be:
3pm Buzz Lightyear
330pm Recess
4pm Digimon
430pm Tarzan
Thanks for writing and for watching UPN57!
---
As it appears, scheduling for this block will lie with the local station, so check local listings to see whether it will air in the morning or in the afternoon.
As for the lineup... it's a "reverse hamtaro" here. An action-adventure show paired up with shows aimed towards younger kids... e-gads. If Disney didn't controol Digimon and CN didn't control Hamtaro, I'd suggest a swap. ;) Way too bizarre...

I am just hoping that maybe the episodes shown on UPN of "Digimon" will be repeats of the first three seasons and that new episodes would air Saturdays on ABC. Here's hoping...

First season of Digimon was definitely my favorite...I wish Gatomon would've stayed evil instead of joining with Kari; she was so much cooler then...
Myotismon was one of the best baddies ever.

That certainly sounds like the best rationale for all of this. This past season, Recess aired on both ABC and UPN. Why can't Digimon?
Of course, the biggest caveat is the over-use of logic and common sense. Seems like those two qualities aren't necessary to be a network programmer.

I think that Disney is tired of dubbing Digimon, and is dumping it on UPN so that it will get horrible ratings and they'll have an excuse to cancel it and stop dubbing episodes.

You know, maybe, just maybe, it's not Disney anymore.
Here's why I say that.
Last week, as ABC Family was showing the conclusing episodes of Tamers, the end-of-show logo wasn't Saban, but something called "Sensation Animation."
Is that arm of the Disney conglomerate? If not, then maybe they're preparing to jettison Digimon to this Sensation company.

Assuming this is the programming lineup for the weekend UPN "One Too" lineup, rather disappointed to see "The Weekenders"/"Sabrina" (two of the only three shows I bothered tuning in for on UPN's toon block) given the heave-ho (to make room for "digital monsters"...guess the analog ones I grew up with are obsolete along with our old turntable and dial-tuner TV, or something ;-)
At least "Buzz Lightyear" gets to stick around for another year (before heading to, erm, wherever it'll wind up once UPN stops airing Disney's lineup...probably to be replaced with Viacom-originated programs in the fall of 2003)...

With the exception of Digimon, all of the aforementioned shows should eventually find their way onto Toon Disney. The Weekenders and Sabrina are already confirmed as going there this fall, and I believe that once the UPN/Disney programming deal is through, Tarzan, Buzz Lightyear, and Recess will go there in the fall of 2003. Digimon will likely eventually return to ABC Family once the block is dissolved, and hopefully start following the ABC/ABC Family airing scheme I had initially hoped for.

My hope is that they start with the first season, through 02 and 03, then proced with starting 04. All though I'd have to watch 03 again b/c I missed half of it. :( but hey. I'll still watch all of them.

I don't have cable, so won't be able to see these shows once they move to cable this fall (and not sure if my city's cable co. [Time-Warner Cable] has "Toon Disney", though I guess they probably do on some expensive-to-get digital-cable package).
Guess outside of the occasional "Buzz" episode or two, UPN will be getting the passover from me....guess maybe broadcast TV cartoons really *are* a dying art ;-\
