Silence of the Lambs...I am TICKED!

Ok, I waited to see which DVD of Silence of the Lambs I would want to buy. The Criterion Collection or the new edition coming out here on the 21st? Well, the Criterion Collection has commentary with the director and the stars, which is missing from the new edition. The thing that is making me mad now is the Criterion Collection DVD is out of print and I will have to pay at least sixty dollars for it if I want it. Man, that wasn't in print for long, was it? I just hate this multiple releases of the same title. The consumer just gets screwed in the end one way or another.

The Criterion edition was in print for at least 3 years. I know I purchased it a long time ago.

Hmmm...I missed it cuz I didn't have my DVD player at that time. My bad. I only noticed it on Amazon.comin Mayb when it showed up on their top five lists. I guess I just assumed it was a new release at that point cuz it's usually the new releases that make the top five. I thought I would have time...and time ran out on me!

I was awfully lucky to get a mint copy of it on Ebay for thirty dollars tho, a little below SRP! So I am happy once again.
