One of my favorite thing that I truly love about Jerry Beck's, "Cartoon Research" web-site, has to be his original cartoon titles page.I'm a sucker for original titles and I just love what Jerry has done for cartoon fans( like myself) to present what original cartoon titles looked liked, when they originally played in theaters decades ago.
So in this catagory, would would be your favorite "Original Cartoon Titles" that really standout as your favorites and Jerry you can particpate in this as well.

This was a very hard decision to make, since I love all of the title pages, it came down to either Terrytoons or Paramount, so I made my pick for the Paramount original titles. The Paramount titles are so cool to look at, since most of them now have the Harveytoons opening & closing titles and it's a real treat to see the REAL titles. Also, it would be nice to Jerry do a original Disney titles and a RKO/Radio Van Bueren original titles page as well.
Keep up the great work on this site :D :D :D

While all studios' cartoons deserve to be seen as originally exhibited, the Paramount titles stand out as those most needing to be seen.

I voted for Columbia Pictures, 95% of the cartoons were reissued with corny title cards that look so cheap (they couldn't even add a "Proud Lady" logo!), so it's hard to see ANY of them with original titles. Even a good percentage of the B&W Columbia cartoons have their original titles taken off (thanks to the home movie distributors in the 1950s and 1960s).

I voted for Columbia/Screen Gems since those are the RAREST titles and REALLY, REALLY need to be seen!
