My 2500th post - hooray! Anyways, this board is currently the most popular board on the site, with almost 9000 posts in just under four months. The board that is about 400 posts shy of this one is the Termite Terrace post! So give yerselves a pat on the back for keeping this board top-notch and entertaining! Congratulations!

this board is sweet..So many conversations going on at once..hard to keep up with em' all. It's REALLY cool. I can tell these new boards are contributing to it's success. Great Job to all involved...

This board used to be the only one I posted on under the old format. That's why I got only 338 posts or so in about 9 months! I was slllloooowwww back then at posting. I should be at 2500 soon here, tho.

Well said B_B. Calling DG a braggart is like calling Jim Carrey reserved. I think the thread was intended to raise spirits and acknowledge a landmark. All the moderators, backers and members alike have a right to be happy. This place in great! Don't hate it cause it's beautiful.

If there is any contest between Dick and Jon, I am sure it's friendly and harmless. And I don't think Dick is a braggart, just a guy who enjoys seeing the fruits of his labor, as any man would. Like when the newsboard got over 50,000 hits because of his JL pics. The guy puts alot of work into the boards and the newspage, and he likes it when the friuts of his labor pay off. Lay off him, he's only human. As if you wouldn't if you were the creator of the board!

I really enjoy all of the boards here. I am really glad that Termite Terrace joined the group of Toonzone boards, or else I wouldn't have discovered all of these other neat boards.

I think this is a great board because we can really talk about anything here, and most of us have similar interests. It's nice to hear all of the different news and opinions.

I don't mean any harm by the post. It was just an uplifting post - that's all. I have every right to be glad this board is currently the most popular - but that could change tomorrow. I just wanted to share the news with my friends here, which is not a crime last I heard. I'm glad the board is a hit with posters, and I shouldn't be slammed for thanking the posters for posting here. And if there's any contest or whatever, then I don't know anything about it. I just thought this post would be a nice jovial thing to put up. Rise some spirits. I work damn hard for this site, and I don't think it's a bad idea to express my joy every now and again. It's really great to see something you work at so hard take off. I was estatic when I got major hits for the JL story we broke earlier, as Cal mentioned. I'm estatic that this is a majorly popular board and the site is getting recognition. You can judge me anyway you like. I'm just someone who's glad to see his work pay off. If you think this post has a hidden agenda - fine. If you think I'm an arrogant braggart - fine. If you think I'm in some ciontest with a guy named Jon - fine. To be honest, think what you will. It won't effect me in the slightest. I'm proud of my accomplishments and I am not ashamed of it.

DickGrayson SHOULD be proud, I imagine it's hard to have a message board with such a large and devout following. He can boast some if he wants to. There's no contest, Jon and DickGrayson have said so. I doubt that Jon and DickGrayson even really know eachother.

I just re-discovered this board, at the old boards I briefly posted under the name "Super Sniffles," but left this board for a long time.

Glad to see that most everyone recognizes DG's post for what it is: Rejoicing in the accomplishments of this board. The fact that AniGen attracts lots of TZers is testament to them as well, since all posters here share in the success of this board.

Well, I'm "that guy named Jon" and if there is any sort of contest between this board and the good ol' TTTP... I don't know about it either. There never was and never will be any sort of a contest.

As long as quality, on-topic discussions continue to be posted to my board I will be happy. To be honest, ever since I moved to this new board and don't need to archive posts anymore I don't even pay attention to the number of posts my board gets that much. I have better things to do than worry about which board has the most posts. I took no offense at this thread... but I suppose I could see how some could have taken it the wrong way.

Gee, I just post in different boards as I feel like. I never thought of us as clans...it was just a big forum with some boards on particular subjects, that's all.

A general topics board SHOULD become the most popular eventually, mainly because anything can go there. Another "duh!" statement by yours truly. :rolleyes:

I like looking at the archives of these boards from time to time, especially this one and all the varying topics. I can still remember alot of the discussion when X-MEN came out and everyone whined about the score :)
