As expected, "Austin Powers" took it all for the weekend; meanwhile, "Country Bears" has pulled in about $5 million, in line with Disney's expectations according to Reuters. "Stuart Little 2", however, is still hanging in steady in the top 5 movies.
Next weekend: it being the start of August, the big summer movie season's in the winding down stages, with almost all the big-budget films having been released by now. For next weekend, look out for Mel Gibson's thriller "Signs", and the following weekend, Vin "Iron Giant" Disel's action film "XXX"....
