I remember seeing the B&W version of Fightin' Pals recently. Why did they have to colorize it at 3:30 A.M.?
The title Fistic Mystic would later be a WB cartoon.
The Crystal Brawl, well the title joke here is obvious.

Actually, CN does this fairly frequently. They show a Popeye during LNB&W and then show the redrawn version on "Popeye" the following week, or vice versa. Sometimes it's pretty neat, if it's an especially poorly done redrawn. Since the B&W is still fresh in the mind, you can notice the mistakes in the redrawn more easily.

They have Acme Hour for redrawns. Why do they have to show redrawns during a special late-night show?

Maybe the bosses up in AwOL-TW want a 24-hr scooby-doo-cartoon-cartoon network so they have high "ratings," no un-PCness and nothing b/w. They show a redrawn colorized toon that Ted Turner himself bragged about, so the bosses won't get mad and replace everything with 52-hr blocks of cartoon-cartoons.
CN programmers are on our side, right?
Right?!?!?
Hey, anything redrawn is at least as well animated as scooby-doo or ed, edd and eddy. Plus, redrawn cartoons still have much superior stories and content.
*NOTE* This was not a endorsement of redrawn cartoons. I think they are bad, but not the spawn of satan (scooby-doo)
