if you have a fast connection, try www.kazaa.com . Run a search for "batman" and make sure you click on the "video" button before sending your quarry. Then, download it.. I assume they are all un-edited, and should take about 6 hours if you have DSL. I think it's 6 anyway..or look around for nightwing_38116 (or whatever you number is...heh)...he can provide you with a copy..

O.K. Here's my problem. I downloaded the movie but I'm on a MAC. The file is an AVI which I cannot veiw. I need a MPG or something MAC compatible Kazaa didn't seem to have any. Do you know any source that does?

Their is a Windows Player 7 out for MAC's. It should play AVI files (which I assume is what ROTJ is), so, just head on over to www.windowsmedia.com and find it, download it..pop some popcorn..and enjoy ROTJ un-edited! :-D

Or you can get your own copy on VHS from nightwing_38116, who has a post on these boards specifically for this topic called "ROTJ uncut".

Why was this thread brought back up? It can get confusing when reall yold threads are brought back. Anyways, this type of conversation isn't really allowed here, due to some legalities, but the ROTJ Uncut DVD will be out on DVD in 2002, likely in April.

It was late, I was bored....heh...
Actually, I was surprised that the thread existed...and I thought that with the current news, made a little pointless...
sorry for stepping on toes...

Didn't realize there was a rule that said old threads can't be brought back up if someone had a question. If there are legal issues(which there are), then why is the thread even still on the board? Inconsistencies abound around here sometimes...

I think it was more based on that it dealt with DLing the ep from the web, which is a nono around here... =D

Discussion about obtaining bootlegs isn't allowed becuase that would give WB more than enough reason to shut this site down if they wanted. Yes, we can acknowledge that they exist and that people are looking for them, but we can't talk about trading and taping and bootlegging them since bootlegging is illegal.
As for the old thread rule - it's gonna become a rule likely. It's just common sense to leave a thread alone that's been dead for months. What's the point? If ya wanna bring that topic back up, then start a new thread, but bringing back a thread thats months old can get confusing for some people.
I don't see any inconsistencies there, and if you have a problem with how we run this board, then I suggest you address the mods and admin who run this place. We decide which threads stsay up and go and if you have a problem with our decisions than contact us via email, not on the boards.
