Does anyone know any Season 2 info yet? I assume that Season 2, like Season 1, will have 26 episodes. Based on what I've read here at Toon Zone so far, this is all I know:

-One two-parter involving the Injustice Gang again (and of course, both Lex Luthor and Joker as a result).

-One two-parter involving Aquaman and his Kingdom of Atlantis again.

-One two-parter involving Despero.

-One two-parter invoving Darkseid and the aftermath of S:TAS "Legacy".

-Another two-parter involving Darkseid again.

That's 10 episodes so far. Will there be two three-parters again, or will Timm & Co. abandon the idea of three-part episodes because he said in one interview that three-part episodes were murder on JL's production schedule?

Does anyone know any episode titles yet? Episode order? The basic plots of the other 16 episodes? Please tell!!! :D

I heard of all of the thing's you've heard of except I just heard of 1 more. The 90 minute "Savage Time" movie special. There's a thread on it!

Going in production order as I believe Squall is, The Savage Time is actually the Season 1 finale.

Here’s what I can tell you, based on what I know:

The Darkseid episode is (currently) titled “Twilight of the Gods” – and it is the only Darksied story that I know of… who said there were two?

Luthor and the Injustice Gang will return. I can’t say anything else, but take note that “Fury” was an Injustice Gang episode – and did not feature Luthor nor the Joker.

There is an Amazo story of sorts. The antagonist has Amazo’s abilities but is pretty much a completely different character. I also know that the producers have been talking about the Crime Syndicate almost from day one – hopefully they’ll be able to develop a story they’ll all be happy with.

The new shows currently in development so far are two-parters. While Timm stated that the JL team wants to stay away from three-part episodes, Timm would also add “never say never.”

Billy Zane will do the voice of...

Etrigan/Jason Blood in the season 2 episode: "A Demon Story"

And

Nick Carter from the backstreet boys will make a guest apperance in the season two episode: "Only a Dream"

About the three-parters thing. If they stop three parters, doesn't that mean that there would be one episode hanging out without a cliffhanger. That's actually sounds cool. I mean like in the middle of the season as a standalone adventure. That would be really interesting.

Also, if they keep up the three-parters, I'm going to want to see them as DVD releases. But I'll wait to see Satan in a Goosedown jacket playing hockey with two sticks with Jack Frost before that happens.

You like that, I just made that up. :D

Etrigan/Jason Blood in the season 2 episode: "A Demon Story"I don't really feel this qualifies as a spoiler since the information has been on the news page several times in the last few months. "A Demon Story" is an early name for the episode "A Night of Shadows" (or is it the other way around? anywho) and it's not a season 2 episode, it's a season 1 episode regardless of when CN airs it. It is a part of the origional 26 half-hours order and as such is a part of season 1.

And

Nick Carter from the backstreet boys will make a guest apperance in the season two episode: "Only a Dream" I'm assuming that's a joke, but if it isn't would you please site a source. If Nick Carter does provide a voice in season 2, that's fine since there's nothing I can do about it. I'd just rather he didn't.

Personally I see the whole two and three part episode thing as a non-issue. The show was intended to be run under a the hour per story format, CN has stated that once enough episodes have been finished they'll start airing them under that format, and if you're taping them (for you're own personal use, not distribution) you can set your VCR so it has part one leading directly into part two.

What's the big deal?

Well, I just remembered reading somewhere on the Justice League Message Board that Darkseid was going to get two two-parters in Season 2 of Justice League... oh well... :( I'm just happy he's appearing at all! :)

Can I ask you a question about the Season 2 Injustice Gang episode? Does your comment about "Fury" imply that the Season 2 Injustice Gang episode won't include Joker? :( I want another Injustice Gang episode WITH both Luthor and Joker!

Thanks for the info! Please keep it coming! :D

Go down to the news section to the date June 24 2002 you can't miss it. Interesting, but the site doesn’t list a source for that news that Nick Carter is doing a guest voice, let alone appearing as himself (that right there casts huge doubt on this since no guest star in the 10 years of the animated universe has ever appeared as themselves, except on Static Shock, and that's debatable whether SS is a part of the animated DCU or not).

Next there's the fact that the episode listing is incorrect. "A Demon Story" is the early working name for "A Night of Shadows" and the episode hasn't officially been called ADS for months. And it's a season one episode, not a season two episode as they list. In fact they only have 24 episodes listed for season 1, not 26 like they should.

Finally, they are the only site I've seen that has Nick Cater listed as a guest voice, despite the fact that the production team hasn't officially given out the list of episode names for season 2 yet (and those can be subject to change), descriptions for the episodes, or a list of guest voices.

I'm perfectly willing to believe that Nick Carter could do a guest voice for JL, but given the fact that it's listed on one site and can't find it on any others, that he's credited as playing himself, and the whole "Night of Shadows"/"A Demon Story" error I'm saying that this should be considered a rumor and nothing more for the time being.

Edit: Ok, regarding the source thing, that site lists Toon Zone as the source that Nick Carter will be appearing, and they also say that "Only a Dream will air after Injustice For All on Cartoon Network instead of Metamorphsis." siting Toon Zone again. Now if this is true, then how in the HFIL did some sort of temporal vortex suck the information straight from TZ so that we can't find it?
