I mean the guy currently in the Hague, connected with Al-Qaida and 9-11. I can't spell his name...Moussasouie or something.

Anyhoo, he entered a guilty plea. Except that he's behaving in a deranged manner. Is he simply confessing the truth so the US can demand his (virtual)crucifixion and he could be treated as the Islam equal to, say, St. Peter when he's executed? Or is he a brainwashing victim, convinced by fellow Al-Qaida goons to take the rap?

We don't know, so I'm putting the question to you? Another question: what should be done in general to the nits who attacked our country? [we can save Iraq for later....]

It appears that Mr. M (let's call him that to avoid spelling issues) does not understand the American judicial process. In most other countries, you are presumed guilty until proven innocent, and you are treated with some leniency if you admit guilt immediately. He seems to want to strike a deal to act as a witness against other Al-Quaeda members. It doesn't work that way here. In order to make a plea bargain, you first have to go to trial. Mr. M is still in the preliminary hearing phase.

Also, the trial needs to move before a jury, because, in federal court, the death penalty is prohibited otherwise.

I say they should give him life in prison and let the rest of the rats there kill him.

I'm very mixed on executions, instinctivelly I want to rip him up and torture him and other bad things, but as a Christian I have conflicting thoughts. I just want him to get what he has earned, and he has earned either death or a life sentence no question, but frankly I don't want Americans to have to pay for his food and lodging in prison if he gets life. Either way I think he should be forced to tell us info...by any means necessary if he knows stuff that concerns our safety we have a right to know, considering he wanted to kill us and we should have a right to defend ourselves...well errr... if torture is necessary for info extraction I wish we could constitutionally do it....this issue is such a mixed bag of thoughts for me oO

I think they should rot in the worst jail there is. They should be killed but, to them to die in doing terrorism they go to heaven, I guess being executed could count, since they help out with terrorism. So, we shouldn't kill them because, that is what they want in a way. I just confuzzled you all. hehe

I am all for executing killers. In my mind, once you maliciously and in cold-blood take the life of another human in my eyes you are no longer human.

I am usually for the death penalty and I think thoughts of abolishing it completly are foolish but sometimes I'm hesitant on it's usage, for this guy I really don't care as long as he suffers. I'm convinced he's going to hell, no second chances for his ass, but I don't know how he should be dealt with in life. I really couldn't hesistate to kill him or any other terrorist, or murderer etc if given a gun and them in front of me...but I don't always know what course of actions I should take according to my religion. I think we more than have a right to defend the innocents from these sickos, so in many cases I am for Lethal Injection it keeps us from having to pay for their food and lodging in prison and eliminates there threat to society, while aso giving them punishment for evil commited, ...all I know is that I do think this guy should get death.

I'm for giving him a life sentence if/when he's found guilty. I'm not fond of the death penalty, and besides, he probably wants to die, so life in prison is a better punishment. I'm sure that the other inmates will be less than kind to him...

You see, this is the reason why I don't like the news too much. Many of them tend to be biased and give out their propagandic view. I only read the facts and all I could say is that life sentence or death really doesn't suit the guy. Maybe 80-90 years of prison but death, no. Why you say? I'm not trying to defend his ass but all this guy did was pass information to the hijackers. He might be brainwashed. He might have done it because he loves too. He might have been another hijacker bent on killing tons of innocent people. Or the news might've been exagerating on this guy. Either way, the fact states that he only passed information. That's it!

However, in my deepest and honest desire, I'd say get an truth-testing machine equipped with an elotrocution device and everytime he's lying, we elotrocute him! :p
