The TV Guide listings for August 25 are now available, and if correct, there will be no Looney Tunes Show on that day or August 26. Instead there will be a 52 hour (3120 min. listed on the TV Guide Close-Up) "Big Pick on Cartoon Cartoon Weekend" marathon featuring Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, etc. etc. etc. The marathon will actually start at 9:00pm EDT August 24.

Would everyone excuse me while I go gag and hurl right now, in advance?
<BLEECH!>
Why do they have to do this!?
It's like we don't see enough of this stuff already on the weeknights and weekends.
Oh well...

That's 1AM East+West the 27th.
Well, at least it doesn't affect LNB&W...:)

Why don't the fools throw in 52 hours of Scooby-Doo? It will satisfy those Josef Stalin/Chairmen Mao/Hitler impersonators who really want human suffering.
I guess AOL-TW has finally sold their souls for a few extra ratings points. (IF they're lucky)

...and no Acme Hour (Sat/Sun), no Chuck Jones Show, no Tex Avery show, and so on.

Well, I guess we can let them do this. Think...we got "June Bugs", they get the "Big Pick". That's fair, isn't it? Besides, you won't miss anything, because nothing will be on that you care about....so give your vcr a break and go outside and do something:D I mean, they can have a marathon of garbage if they want to if it's only a couple of days.

No, it's not fair. We DID NOT get June Bugs. They decided to be fools and hold back some of the rarest Bugs Bunny cartoons. It made me quite mad.
On the other hand, most of June 2 was based on June Bugs for me.

I thought I was gonna get a heart attack by not having a healthy diet but I guess I'm gonna get one now after that stupid decision to show that garbage for 52 hours.
(Grabs chest, falls to floor)
I'm not too broken up about it. If things get boreing I'll go to the lake or pop in a tape of classic cartoons to watch. I do plan on seeing some of these "premier premiers" (these names all sound like a broken record:rolleyes: ). I'd like to see what the next Cartoon Cartoon is going to be...
